BA talked to Shiney last night.

MrsSunshine and the Baby are both ok. I did not get a clear answer but I believe the Kidney is hiding behind the pelvis.

They have both been busy a beavers lately so maybe drop them a line.

I just got home from a day of teaching Junior Achievment to a class of 3rd graders.
This was an all day affair, where it is usually spread over 5 visits... we did the whole thing in one day.
I gotta say, that it was a load of fun. Those kids were so eager to learn. And at around 8 years old... these kids think that I am the master of the universe while I am in the classroom. It was great!

I did get a good laugh at lunch time;
I was sitting at the table with the kids.. and the teacher was saying something to them as I sat down (and as usuall, she was a teacher, so I didn't listen.. lol).
So I am sitting there, and asking these two kids if they are enjoying the class. The one little girl looks at me with her finger in front of her face and says "Shhh, we are not supposed to talk for the first 5 minutes of lunchtime"...
It was hilarious.. I sat there quietly... eating my pizza and corn. The two boys on the other side of the table were intently watching the clock and counting down on their fingers to eachother.
Boy, when those five minutes were up.. I got about 57 questions thrown at me in about 2.58 seconds.
What a day... I am worn out!

Jolf -- gonna play sunday by ear, but should be able to make somethin' happen. i get to be the farmhand this weekend on top of all my gigs, but as soon as i get done playin' cowboy (the not so glamourous end of it) i'll be ready to head up there.

why is it that when you have horses you work so hard keepin' the farm up that you never ride?

oh yeah, that's why i don't work at a bike shop anymore. : )

Sanchez...I have super powers coming out of me like crazy! My original "flying hugs" (ask Glitch) could cure a bad day, now I am pretty sure that I can fix anything. Also pretty sure that if I point and sneeze at the same time a laser comes out of my finger tip! ;) I haven't decided whether or not I will use my new powers for good or evil though. I'm weighing my options!

i got betty togeather this afternoon, we were dead at the shop so i came home early and worked on her. went for a ride to make sure every thing was kosher as christmas, i start off and the bike feels alittle strange, phil gave me the the wrong brake lever, my front wheel locked up, thank God i wasnt going that fast so i came to a nice slow stop. i had to take off the lever and ride betty home with only a rear brake. got it all squared away tho, i still need to put the clip-ons on and hack off the cheesegrater, but im back on the road. i really hope toona got his check!

It's my shifting leg, but it's my knee. I go back to the ortho and get the word from the ins adjuster Tues, I'll know both our fates then.

I rode to work this morning. Sure would be a nice day to go for a real ride, but alas, I cannot. I think my neighbors hate me. That Drummer is pretty loud at 06:30. Wait until tomorrow. I'll bet it will be even louder on Sunday morning at 06:30. Is it wrong to rev it up in the garage before I leave? My Fiance is coming over tonight, so I got that going for me. Did I mention it looks like a slow day at work? Hey Ratyson, don't come to work for IBM. Trust me.

phil gave me the one for a thumper. it "fits", but pushes the master cyl in. no problem, rode to riders edge, this class is pretty neat. learning the low speed stuff, but man! those thumper seats SUCK!!!

I'm around..lurking mostly...Me and the misses have been busier than I can even explain. Baby sunshine is good and getting bigger by the day. She does have a pelvic kidney. That means that her kidney is behind her bladder down in her pelvis. This happens in 1 and every 500 births. Most people don't even know they have this. There shouldn't be an issue unless it doesn't function. THe doc will do an ultrasound when she is born to find out.

Congrats Kdan and Bambi....nice ring.

How's the ankle Sanchez?

Miss B...definatley for evil....it's more fun that way.

B_s, still broken. : ) My mom flew in last night, though, and she's been an enormous help. I go in for surgery early Tuesday morning to get my plate.

Good news on the kidney!

Chris, I have a love/hate relationship with my Treo. I love the web browser and whatnot, but I hate how unstable it is. Sometimes it just freezes up for no reason or some menu stops working. I have to yank the battery to reboot it almost daily.

Lightnindave and I tried smoking some beer butt chickens yesterday. Well we could not get the temp right after 3 hours so we got out the grill. Put the chicken on the rotisserie and it was dead. OH Crap! Not for long. Watch the video to see our "redneck rotisserie"!!

Chuck, that's priceless. Half of IBM's seen it by now.

Update on the SV...I charged the battery and it fired right up. Which sucks, cause that means it's not a wire. So I got issues. It's not charging and it's got a recent regulator. I thought I had a stator, but I don't. I hate electrical problems. Any ideas?

Shelley's got a good way to cook a chicken. It's called.....

"kock in a can"

I tried to spell the right way with a C' but I forgot what web site I was on.... O.k, I'll stop there.

Anyway...

Get a whole chicken and a empty large coffee can.

take a screw driver and put hole's in the side of the can from bottom to half way up the coffee can. Maybe 20 or 30 holes total.

Put 14-15 pieces of charcoal in the can and light.

Then add your spies to the chicken and wrap with aluminum foil and put the chicken breast side down. Then put a piece of aluminum foil over the chicken and can. Let it cook for 4 hrs and its ready to eat.

I never thought I'd say this but here it goes.
