Mailing your camping gear is a cool way to go, although you probably want to clear your arrangements with TWO (or wherever you're staying). That's what Rubberdown and his buds did for MBII. One way to reduce volume of clothing, etc. is to use those sealable/ventable plastic bags they advertise on TV. I think you can get them at Wally World and other retail stores now. Regular freezer bags work pretty well too; load 'em up, squeeze the air out, then seal them. | ||

I just ordered some waterproof bags so I should be good to go. That was my main concern....all my crap getting wet. I usually pack old clothes that can be thrown away after I wear it to save space on the return trip but always end up buying more junk than I throw out so that doesn't always work......... | ||

Wolf - if push comes to shove and your stuff gets wet, we have a washer and dryer in our cabin which you are welcome to use. We should be there Friday around 2 p.m. if all goes as planned! | ||

No problem!! We NEBO fellas are leaving Wednesday after I get out of work. Which will be around 3ish. That should put us in GA mid-morning. |
