Triumph is having their own version of Demo days. Me and a buddy are headed there now to thrash some British iron. Anyone in? Be at Triumph of Atlanta at 13:45pm.

Forgot to post some bad news earlier this week, I've been slammed at work.
Todd Phillips "red headed guy" died at Roebling this past weekend. He was about 40yrs old. He's a local that rides in the mnts. and was on the GSB and WERA sites. He'd sometimes hang out at the Flying machine on GSB nights, the 'V' or at Wings cafe on stunt night before they closed.
If anyone knew him there's more info on him at the WERA and GSB site.

Let me tell you, Atlanta Triumph Ducatti is no Stone Mountain HD! Clown could teach these guys a thing or two about organization and customer service. That said, I only got to test ride the Scrambler and my buddy the Speed Triple. The Triple had all kinds of power and he said it handled way better than his SV650. The Scrambler was a hoot to ride, it reminded me of an old Yamaha two stroke 360 enduro I had. Built like a tank but more power than you would expect. Mind you, it's a 900 twin, it was a total scream to ride through Atlanta.
I wish Buell or Harley had a bike like that, high suspension, built really stout and lighter. The TT is close, but the bling has to come off and the price has to come down. Don't even think you're going to get to see the Daytona or the 1098 over there either. They say they can't keep 'em on the floor. |

If anyone is looking for something to do tonight....a friend of mine's band is playing at the Star Bar (across the street from the "V"). They go on at 10:00. Me and some friends are going to grab a bit at the "V" and see the show. Their band is great. |

man, rode all the way to charlie's place made it there at like 4:50 pm. no one was around. hmmm, i figured i would catch someone. oh well, it was a nice day to ride, so i enjoyed it.

Well guys, My Buell saw asphalt last night coming home from Silverbullet's house. Pulled up to the stop sign, stopped, leaned right, and zoom! My bike is 360ing across the road. To make matters worse the car I was merging in front of didn't even stop and barley missed me as they justed swerved to keep going. After my second roll across the pavement (hoping I'm not going to be hit by this b***ch) I grabbed the bike and had it back on the side of the road. Now I go to check the damage. Not really that bad. Not a single broke lever or peg. Some slight rash on the swingarm and a scuffed frame puck. The headers didn't dent but now I have some crosshatching in a small spot. Overall, I am fine and so is the bike. I'll have it back on the road in the next day or so. Not only watch for cold tires, but watch for fluids on the road too!
