Bambi and I made it up to the Mountains on Saturday. It was a little chilly, but that's a good thing. Low traffic. Hwy 60 from Dahlonega all the way to Morganton is clear and in good shape. Wolf Pen Gap, (hwy180) was reported to be a sandy mess. We never had a chance to run Wolf Pen though, so we took people's word for it. It should be clearer now, after hellacious thunderstorms late Saturday night.

There were about a go-zillion Law Enforcement Officials of all genders, State, City, County, all the way up hwy 400, but the mountains were clear.

Question for those with MB experience...

I'm only going to be at the event Friday and Saturday, and I know the test bikes aren't there Friday. Will I have any trouble testing 2 of them? Preferably a 12Scg and a CityX.

Thoughts?

If the past is any guide, you will not have a problem testing two bikes.

The 3%'s do demo rides in their own incredible way, I have never seen so many rides offered, or such a great test route.

Ya'll come on down!!

PS. Quite a few guys will be riding Deals Gap on Friday.

Buell's website shows they are having Buell demo's at Farrows the weekend of Badness.

Do they have multiple Demo Fleets?

Yep, they have a demo going on the same Friday at Barber as well. I think there are five demo fleets.

I am pissed about the track day, I wanted to go again this year but alas MBIV is gonna be more fun.

Only a handful of folks came to the trackday and I was really hoping more would come.

Ya know,.....I'm planning on being in Dahlonega that week (weather permitting)
I have to be able to "ride" out of Kalamazoo.
I'll be leaving around friday the 23rd.

I'll most likely be heading back before the weekend
Again......weather dependent.

Peace
Milo

Laura, the new Buell Lady, said that the Barber Track Day, wouldn't conflict next year with our schedule. Evidently they had the date set so far in advance of anyone knowing anything. Also I heard that March Badness may become an Official Buell National Event. While that's great news that we've been noticed, I have to wonder what it could turn into. I can think of good and bad that could go with corporate "interference"

Well, at the moment the scoop is empty : (
My main computer died an ugly death Thursday.
But, it couldn't die alone, so it decided to take as much data as it could on the way out.
I have some back ups, but I'm afraid that I may still end up re-doing the whole damned thing. So there will be no custom shirts with names on them, just MB-IV shirts. I know it sucks, but it bees that way sometimes.
Thank goodness for Linux, or I'd be without a computer all together!

I keep going to the garage, look at the bike. Go back inside. Go back to garage, look at bike, sit on bike, go back inside. Go back to garage, look at bike, sit on bike, try to balance bike with one toe on 4 wheeler tire while I attempt to assume a good riding posture. repeat repeat repeat

I'm ready for warm weather!!

Anyone know about how far it is to TWO from Montgomery, AL. Plan on heading up on Sat morning for MBIV. Will there be tent sites still available? Want to enjoy some riding and meeting some other buellers.

Thanks,
Brian

Buelltoys - Mapquest shows 242 miles, just over 4 hours. Of course depends which side of Montgomery you're starting from.

Glitch - sorry to hear about the computer (and the shirts too!).

I rode to work today! It was in the high 30's, but it will be 68 when I leave tonight!

I don't think the neighbors like the new Drummer. They should all be up by 06:30 anyway, shouldn't they?

Yeah Brad, sheesh, while I'm not an American, my girlfriend is, she rolls a Suzuki SV. We're a diverse group, which is more American than anything.

It would be a pretty boring weekend if everyone was exactly the same, especially if they were all like me.

See you some other time Brad.

Brad - don't let a difference of opinion stop you from coming and having a good time. As others have stated, it would be boring if we all had the exact same opinions. Hope you change your mind and come to MBIV.

BWAAAAHAHA!!! I've done the same thing. If I hadn't gone out last week (on the only good day) I can't even imagine what I'd be like this week. 50 and partly sunny tomorrow in DC. Guess what I'm doing?

Brad: Come on down! You'll have a good time.
