That sucks Sunshiny, but I understand. If no one wants the whole bike, can I get dibs on the muffler? It's dented all to shit, just right for the Bikini Bottom assault sled. And if you're serious about a Motard, stay in touch, I will be owning me a Suzuki DRZ400SM one day, hopefully this year. We could cut a decent deal on a pair. |

Shiney Boy, I like to think that being a 3%er is like being Blond, it is a state of mind and an attitude more than a tangible or something superficial like owning a Buell or a physical attribute.
My finances forced me to ride something other than a Buell but even so, I wouldn't consider running off to some rice burner bike club because of the folks in this here all American Bike Club and YOU are one of those wonderful people.
Once a 3%er, always a 3%er! 
My Mom died of a 2 year bout with cancer. I can't find the words. You guys be safe. |

Why can't the motor be fixed again? I can't imagine the parts being that expensive to purchase.
B_S, work up a figure on repair parts. I may have an idea....
Real bummer dude. I don't know what to say about all that. Hang in there. Kids bring release along with more stress alot more work. It will even out soon and you will figure it all out.

Shine... i understand the whole bit on priorities. and i also understand what it's like to give up somethin' you love for somethin' else you love more. your family will benefit, as will you. and when you get that next bike again you'll love it even more than you do now. been there, done that.
as the newest 3%er, i have to say that you were the one that made me feel most welcome ("if you ride with us, you are us"). thanx for that.
i don't think anybody else is gonna let you not come around, and besides, if you do sell yours, you can at least come to the V when it warms up. you can terrorize mine for a while on thursday nights.  |

Just checking in to see what the 3%'ers are up to. Sorry to hear about your bike.
Any clue on the cause? Did anyone pull the oil pump and look at the crank drive gear? That seems like a likely culprit.
Hopefully some strings will be pulled and you'll get enough help to get it back on the road. I'm looking forward to seeing y'all at MBIV. |

Hey B_S, have you contacted Buell? Most all manufacturers will do good will warranties for loyal customers well after the warranty period has expired. It's worth checking into, it's just a phone call. The worst they can do is say no but there is a good chance they can say yes. Especially if you have clown call them. I would think he would be happy to do that to help keep you on a Buell. Good luck. |

B_S,my Grandmother passed last year after a long and happy life.But it still left a hole in my heart.Crissy's loss,like mine will get better with time.
I have told many people that you have the best looking Lightning I've yet seen.Hope Buell will give you some help with it.
If not you can ride the bus to Woodstock and we can swap out the Uly and S2 in the hills. |

also what happened to the bike would have liked to been there on fri was actualy at the dealership sat but no ride to go any where was kind of stuck. |

You can't even see the extra small white lines and where the skull doesn't exactly match the speedo sweep.

How's this look?
I'll see if I can dig up the original full sized pdf, so we can get these printed up proper. There's also a special paper, or semi transparent paper they're using, I'll see if I can find that out as well.
Any ideas on who can get these printed up for us? We have an IBM copy center here, I'll look into weather or not they can handle this or not.

The pegasus and curves ahead are two of the toughest symbols I have ever tried to place together.
