Didn't get to shoot a Coon' the other night cause' I had some young whippersnapper sitting beside me saying "let me shoot", "let me shoot". Being the kind hearted soul that I am I graciously gave him the go ahead. I figured since he didn't get a deer the least I could do was let him try his hand at bagging something bigger than a Squirrel.
I must admit Ole' Nuts made a very good shot on that banded rascal. They are notoriously thick skinned unlike the hunter that evening (BATABING)!!

Fellows,
Feel free to jump in and liven up the RVFL forum. The only reason we keep bringing up hunting is nobody else is adding anything to the mix. So get on in here and share the days events. Tank, you can even tell us about your hemmorrhoids from sitting in front of that multi screened computer of yours if you want to, or did the Preparation H take care of the problem .

Alright you two, lets don't turn this into a "dung flinging contest"
Jackie, not really a fishery, just a catch basin pond(actually three ponds connected by big culverts)but I have caught alot of bass and crappie out of them.As for the "gator" he went where ever gators go when we had that last cold snap.I'm sure he will be back in the spring ready to match wits with the occasional fisherman. He is quite the opportunist and always up for some fresh meat. He has been around people too much and can be very brazen, general rule is anytime they get over six feet, they have them removed to parts unknown and he looked larger than that last time I saw him.
The riding down here sucks(Va spoiled me) the roads are flat, straight and sandy corners(off camber)but if you like sightseeing, there's plenty to look at and no shortage of airborne bugs, you can tell I just love this place.LOL Anyhow, come on down, would be great to see you two comedians again.Charlie

Flat and straight, thats just how I like em'! A whole lot easier for me to keep the bike upright when I don't have to worry about turns or leaning. Now if there is a Hooters near by then thats just my game. Cruising and fine young lasses to gawk over make for a fun day indeed!

No prep-H here....(gotta' stay away from them hot wings though....woooobaby)

I gave some thought to crashing the MB4 thing, but it's just too far from here for a "weekend" trip.

I plan on doing something, but at this point, I have absolutely no idea what???(gator wrestling sounds fun )

Tank,
It took the old hemmorhoid joke to pull you out of hiding. I was hoping I wouldn't have to resort to such cruel and heinous remarks but had to make sure you were still with us.
So where you been hiding at?

Or the hospital if he doesn't stop dumping the warwagon ULY!

BTW, cruel and heinous are my middle names!
along with quiet, secretive, shady, etc.
But not lost, thanks to my new GPS! That aussie chick voice is almost enough to keep one out of Hooters(but not quite). Haven't tested it on the bike yet, due to the need to "fashion" a cord for the Autocom. The directions are spot-on though...nice "piece of kit".

Jason...VIR??
Ya'll goin' to the race, or you gonna' test out the uly on the real twisties??

Bland is a whole lot better than the little town outside of Richmond. It is called Short Pump. That must be where the "minute men" we learned about in history class lived HEHEHEHEHEHEEEEE!!

Hmmm, Short Plump actually sounds sort of nice. : )

I didn't see a Ducati. There was hardly any traffic. I saw 3 other bikes, 2 Harleys and some sort of sportbike. Would have been funny to run into them.

Charlie,
We have two dogs that have showed up during our predator hunts that are obviously pets due to them having collars.
I want to whack em' because they run around the property chasing deer and harrassing our smaller game animals but Jason is of the sentimental type and won't let me do it. In all honesty he is probably right since the landowners would probably start looking for them on our spread and suspect someone offed them but it still irritates me.
Now if we ever see that house cat again I will be forced to put the hammer down. I suspect that is why our rabbit population is low because of that stupid thing (and its' friends).
Our mystical hunting grounds is chocked full of goodies and rare is the day that we leave empty handed.
We are blessed indeed to have such a nice place to hunt. Ole' Nuts is also blessed to have a hunting partner who will put up with his folly !

Charlie,
I forgot you were a fellow MK owner. I guess now either Nuts will have to make fun of both of us or just admit they are fine shootin' irons. I let him shoot it the other day and he dumped 10 shots inside an inch at 25 yards and then said it was a junker. Envy is a horrible monster .
Is yours the stainless or blued? I just got mine the other day and have found the finish scratches super easy. I think after squirrel season I am going to bead blast her for a nice matte finish.

I got the stainless and I love it. It has been my squirrel gun for a good while now. Although I have a Marlin lever action 22lr with the big scope also that use to be my squirrel gun.(also does a good job)I've had it for 47 yrs.Charlie
