If a car is passed by a lead rider, he gives the thumbs up if it's safe from on coming traffic, he keeps this thumbs up until everyone is caught up, or until traffic is coming. In the event that traffic is coming the lead rider will lower his hand to his side.
This works well, and each rider that passes will give the thumbs up to the riders behind, and so on.
Not sure if I explained it right or not, but hopefully y'all get the idea.

OZ, I hate it for ya man, those temps look horrible. That is one major reason no one will get me to leave The South.

Thanks Glitch, that is what I remembered when we rode on Friday evening up 60 last year, but didn't want to speak for your group. When I went out to pass, I knew from the leaders signal exactly what the communication was so when I got in front I did the same. From TWO out to our cabin just off 60 has to be one of my favorite rides! See ya soon!

P.S. No one has shown an interest in the Cherhola Skyway. This road is another awesome road, situated relatively close to the dragon and we should be able to easily make both roads and still be back by dark.

I'm interested! New roads, new curves, new sights - sounds good to me!

Yuengling, the official beer of March Badness!

OZ, man, that's brutal. You must spend most of your time and energy just staying warm! Come on down and visit, you may not want to go back.

The first time I rode with the 3%'ers, I found myself diving into a sweeper at a 80mph with one hand off the bars, giving a thumbs up for the guy behind me. That's a thrill in itself.

If people have different local brews that they could bring to MBIV, I would be willing to taste it for them

A little beer, a little chili, a little We could have our own version of Blazing Saddles!

I'm up for riding any and every road down there!

I would imagine The Skyway will be COLD! But I'm still 100% willing to go! I love it! On my previous trips, I think I've seen up to 20 degree differences between The Dragon and the top of the Skyway.

This sounds like it's going to be a blast!

What kind of turnout are you looking for this year?

If so, bring some Fat Tire Ale from New Belgium brewery.

I can get that here in MA. ping me before I split and I can bring ya some if ya want. There is a store down the street from me that has over 220 different beers.

A little beer, a little chili, a little We could have our own version of Blazing Saddles!

My chili is award winning!!! My company has a chili contest every year, usually between 25-35 entries. I have won it almost every year since I've been back. I should have had a 4-peat but back in 05 I crashed my bike 3 weeks before the contest and was out of work for 2 months.

thanks for that video B_s

i think my pulse rate doubled watching that video...and the logo at the end with the 3% sign and "got mountains"...that needs to be the front or back of the MB shirt. I would buy one for sure

and Black_sunshine...do you have the link to the video that is of you (i believe) and Odie with the different songs playing (Rob Zombie, etc.) that is so cool. if we could have the one you just put on and that one close together...it just might be enough of a "fix" to hold me over to March.

thanks again, Brad

Notice about half way through, the guy on the bicycle. That startled me when we went around that blind right hander. I'm pretty sure he crapped his pants. Although, I'm sure he heard us coming a mile away.

As promised, MrsG and I took a drive up Wolf Pen today for some pics to help keep y'all motivated. I know, I know, driving Wolf Pen sounds sac-religious, but MrsG has very limited seat time, and as she puts it, "hasn't earned her foot pegs yet", that, and my hand has been giving me fits lately, and I want to make sure I don't re-injure it and miss MB-IV.
So here y'all are.

Saw a bunch of 3%ers at T.W.O.
Shred, Duc_htr, Buellish, Fran_dog, Sanchez, and Mountainrider, always good to see y'all.
