Nice tats Glitch and Mrs Glitch...

Congrats Vicki6 on the Cherry Bomb! That bike looks sweet...

Kdan, Congrats on the day shift. I worked from 10pm to 6am for about 6 months, it about killed me.

Went to Talladega GP while I was visiting family yesterday and it looks interesting to say the least.

Home safely, Got lots of rain riding exp.

Had the rear tire come loose at 90mph in turn 2, and that is just the start of my stories.

Gotta run for now post more later.

Oh yeah, 4.5 hours door to door both ways in traffic with construction.

Nice tats Glitch and Mrs Glitch...
Thanks Shred.
That wasn't you that rode by the house twice without stopping was it?
I heard a bike, but before I could get to the front, it passed by again, but I missed it both times. You know you're welcome any time!

Just a tick over the speed limit, Saw over a dozen cars pulled over by GSP.

And these Canadians are crazy, I spotted about 8 cars with Ontario tags?!?!

Those wacky Canadians get into everything!

I hauled my bike to Houston for Christmas, but didn't end up riding all that much.

I got a bunch of HD heated gear, though, so I'm ready to get back up into the mountains.

A man appeared before St. Peter at the Pearly Gates.

"Have you ever done anything of particular merit?" St. Peter asked.

"Well, I can think of one thing," the man offered. "Once, on a trip
to the Black Hills out in South Dakota, I came upon a gang of bikers,
who were threatening a young woman. I directed them to leave her
alone, but they wouldn't listen. So, I approached the largest and most
heavily tattooed biker and smacked him in his face, kicked his bike
over, ripped out his nose ring, and threw it on the ground."

I yelled, "Now, back off! Or I'll kick the s--t out of all of you !"

St. Peter was impressed, "When did this happen?"

"Just a couple minutes ago."

Hey guys, Happy New Year!

Kdan and I have a buddy that Kdan infected with bike fever (let him ride the Blast) on Christmas Eve and he has been shopping ever since. We are pretty sure he is going to join the ranks of Suzuki Sidekicks (No offense intended M_B). Since he is not a gear head and not sure how much he is going to get into or stick with it we think he is going the SV650 route.

Annnnyway, my point is he is over on you guys side of town and we have been telling him what a great group you guys are and that you know some really cool back roads over there that when he does get his "Hook-up" we want to get you guys to take him/us on a local run.

Think we could maybe talk any of you guys into for that? PLEASE!!!!!
( like we'd have to beg! )

Welcome to the daylight world!
I remember when I finally got off nights.
Took a little getting used to.
You're still at the same job, right?
This won't affect any time off, will it?
Say, like, with MB-IV.

Nope, I'll just have to take that whole weekend off as vacation time. But I will have the Wednesday & Thursday before that off already too, so if anyone needs anything extra done the week before MBIV, I'm your man!

Well, now I can breathe............

So I leave for Jennings and it is raining here but not there. I drive to Valdosta before I stop for some dinner and to fuel up and the rain has followed me the whole way. Get to Jennings and you guessed it, still raining. I set up my canopy(that has a broken top support that I had to fool with for 30 min. to get to work) to get under some cover and contemplate setting up my new tent(10x15) in the rain. I pull out the instructions and it seems easy enough so I say what the hell, better than sleeping in my little S-10. Get out the rods and start pluggin em into place when I hear a "snap". The elastic band holding them together breaks, no biggie I thread it through 8 little poles and on the last one(keep in mind it is still raining) it slips through my fingers and I have to start all over. Next I lay out the tent only to find that it is screen on the top with a 4" high floor, filling with water now. I wrestle with getting the tent up alone and after a little frustration I get the tent erect(leave the jokes alone). Now I try to drape the rainfly in the wind and rain, this proves to be quite the chore. Ok tent is set up, I am soaked from head to toe but I have shelter. On to the air mattress, I checked to make sure all the pieces were there before I put it in the truck, but while boxing it back up I heard a noise like something fell, I did not see anything and the cap was still dangling so I think nothing of it. Well standing in my covered swimming pool(tent) with the mattress laid out I start looking for the built in motor......WTF!?!?! Guess what fell! Without the motor there is a hole the size of my fist in the mattress!! Well at least it is rubber and keeping me off the wet floor right, except the screen on top was still wet and dripping on me.....UGHHH! At this point I am wet and very pissed off, the bastards next to me were of no help(unless you call laughin help) and when I finally get to sleep they started throwing firecrackers at the tent!! They are damn lucky I did not get out of the tent and fire a couple rounds in their general direction. I did however ignore them and fell back asleep.

Wake up, NO RAIN!!!! Still wet but the rain stopped. We get through the riders meeting and get out for the first run. Lots of puddles of standing water, slick as wd-40 but still going none the less. Next round comes along and the race line is dryer, really starting to get into the groove, hooked up with a really fast guy on a SV1000 and started turning some killer laps. Exit the Track and the rain really starts coming down, only to never stop the rest of the day. I continued on the whole day in the rain, getting soaked to the bone but still having a great time riding at warp speed. Man does the rain hurt at about 120mph on your neck where there is no cover! I did a lot of sliding around the track, had the front end wash out and save it on numerous occasions, the back end stepped out so much I thought I was going to have to ride Supermoto style! All in all besides the frustraition of the night it was a good time. It is a shame nobody else came.

I had a guy pitted next to me with an 06 12R, black and amber! He was having some really serious running issues(jardine pipe, K&N, and a Remap) the bike would only run at wide open. I told him about badweb and so on....He was astonished at the mileage and abuse my bike had been through. He said he still had not drug knee yet on the bike cuz of the running issues, had good lines but did not hang off at all. He coulda planted it down if he would have got off the bike. I was his inspiration to keep the bike and get it going good, especially after he saw me wasting fools on 600's and 1000's!!

Little Tally this weekend anyone? I am trying to go with Shred on Sat.

Setting up tents in the rain with no help and a bunch of laughter? Sounds like a weekend in the Field with the USMC! I wish I could have gone but finances aren't as good as I would like. Maybe once I get the Tiger up and running reliably, I can partake in the fun!

Maybe if I was as busy and broke as Shred I could afford to take time off with my new track bike too! damn bills!

Oh yeah, and for those that don't know, if your not posting on StealthXB's MB4 thread, then you must not be coming. Everyone's just assumed that ALL 3%er's were attending. This is not the case. So to make stealth feel all warm and fuzzy, post something so he knows you still love him.

Darkducati, Will do.

Turn 8 Will get ya! In the rain all the divots were full of water and you just slide the whole way through!

The Laughing really let me know I was getting really upset and should chill, the firecrackers went to far. But I am sure they stopped the making fun when I passed two of em on the outside of one!!!

Smokescreen, If you come we will be able to really show the posers where it is at!!!

Not trying to start a Riot in the MBIV section, just bustin chops.

But really when did you pass me???

I see they are calling for rain all weekend, I wont do Tally in the rain, it will be too cold to be wet. I am keeping an eye on the weather and will know more by thursday.

Yeah it was pretty nasty. The repair bill for the bike was $9,300! So, needless to say it was totaled. And fireworks were taking it way too far. Especially when you are in your tent trying to sleep or taking care of more important things.

Or this for $7,900. 916 with a Ferracci 955 engine. He should have it in a week. I told him I would be happy to ride it until his wrist has healed.
