G, You get that cast off yet?

I gotta say as much as I hate mitsumercadecrylsler, It sure is easy to replace the crappy engines. Only took me an hour and a half to drop it out of the car.

Its easy to drop a engine..How long will it take you to get a new one in, get it to crank and running?

The tech that replaced my engine in my Dodge started at 8am and I picked it up at noon the next day. I drove it to Miami,Fla that evening.

I kicked azz today at work and going riding with my electric gear...

Well, the good news is the cast is history.
The bad news is "It doesn't seem to have mended as well as we had hoped"
It hurts like a mother •••••• and smells like ass.
The worst thing is, I can't ride for a while.
My wrist is still pretty banged up I guess, twisting the throttle is near impossible.
This sucks.
I will say though, at least I'm closer to riding than I've been in six weeks.
The doc says once I can get the movement back in my wrist, I can ride, as long as I don't over do it.
The fingers seem ok, just really really stiff.

No heat needed...good afternoon ride. Time to go play Mr.MOM...

Took Nic on his first ride on the Z50R this past weekend. He loves it...Then I crashed riding wheelies and put a hole in the case.. JB weld is a wonderful thing.

Glitch, Glad you got the cast off, sorry the wrist isn't heeled up all the way. Just take it easy and let it heel, Don't over do it..

G, you can come over to my house, we will just be hanging out when I get home. I know it sucks you still cant ride but at least you can move it!!

I would have the car running by the end of the day but I had to do a pre-purchase(after they bought the car)inspection and now I am running the front waiting for the manager to get back. So I will have it in and mostly done by the time I leave.

Glitch, you just need a good week of self administered physical therapy. Got anything you can squeeze repeatedly at 30-40 minute intervals for about 5 minutes or so?

Glitch, give it some time and physical therapy, and it'll be good as new. I broke my finger in college, and it would barely move when it came out of the cast. It took a while to get the strength and range of motion back, but it did happen.

Did y'all sort out the Tiger's fuel(?) issues?

We'll be in North Carolina tomorrow afternoon, until Sunday afternoon. If the weather ain't to bad, I may just have to give the motor another try, if, I think my wrist will take it.

Smokescreen figured out that a sensor-reset-something-or-another was the issue, and after New12r rode it, he figured the same thing. Something to do with ignition.
Easy fix I think, pretty much, pull the offending one out and plug in the new. He needs to have a service done, so he'll probably get all that taken care of at one time.
Sure is a nice bike!

Crank or cam sensor. Dennis @smhd/buell used to work at a Triumph dealer and it is a known issue. I pulled to a stop and it just plain quit! Shut off the ign. switch and cylcled it back on, bike ran like a champ again.

N12R, Thought you'd get a kick out of this. I installed Corian partitions with chrome plated brass hardware today at Emory @ John's Creek. Now they just called and want S.S hardware. I'll post a pic when its all cleaned up. The money some people spend.

About 1050 per stall plus the extra stuff they had me add on. I wish all that money went in my pocket. They bought the material direct then realized their they couldn't do the work. The same G.C as Viasat off 316...You remember that job?

Glitch's wrist is a *little* bit more flexible, and a *little* less sore. The fingers seem to be about the same. A little more physical terrorism ought to do the trick.
