Good to see your still up to your old tricks. And riding whenever you can work it in. I'm planing on being at T.W.O. tomorrow Thur. afternoon and getting in a ride myself. And just seeing were Friday takes me. Would love to see any of the old crew. But have to get back on the road to FL Sat.
So anyone up for it I'll be in town with the little woman for a short.

Nice you all still remember old Gator. I'm stuck down in the paradise known as South Florida. Well, let me tell you as far as riding goes up here in the mountains is the real paradise. I really miss being able to just jump on and get my ride on. You guys got it made. You don't know what you got till you don't have it any more. Oh and I miss hanging out up here with all my 3%ers too.
This is the first time we've been able to get away all year. So after see the folks I thought I show Janssen (my little wife) just how beautiful it is here. So if any of you are coming up and can make it early enough Sat. we'ed love to see you.

Subject: BRAG to be discontinued; membership benefits open up to ALL Buell owners

Dear Buell Dealer:
Since the club's formation, members of the Buell Riders Adventure Group (BRAG) have been some of Buell Motorcycle Company's biggest fans and some of our very best mutual customers. Based on the feedback we've received from them and from you, we're making significant changes to BRAG. Specifically, we are phasing out the BRAG membership program, including clubs. This means, effective immediately, we will no longer take membership applications or renewals for membership.

Beginning in November 2006, we will be rolling out a more comprehensive (and we believe better) approach to our interactions with owners. These interactions will primarily take place through www.buell.com and plans for expanded event presence. Most importantly, we're opening things up to all Buell owners.

Overview:
More specifics will be announced over the next few months; until then, here's an overview of the changes:
A new Owners section of www.buell.com is being created. This section will be THE destination to find information about local Buell owner clubs and events, as well as the place to communicate with other Buell owners. Look for these enhancements in early 2007.
FUELLŪ magazine will continue, and be available at no cost to Buell owners who reside in the United States. Owners simply need to go to the Owners section of www.buell.com and update their online profile to receive FUELL in 2007. If they do not have an online profile, they must create one in order to receive (or to keep receiving) this magazine.
The annual Buell Homecoming will continue and will be open to all Buell owners. It is tentatively planned for June 2007.
We will continue to offer special hospitality for Buell owners at races, rallies and International Motorcycle Shows. In fact, our offerings will be enhanced. Look for more details in the near future.
Some previous BRAG member benefits (e.g., Shipping, Roadside Assistance Program, Travel Insurance) will be available to all Buell owners, for a fee and where applicable.
Local gatherings of Buell riders, such as the Wicked Twisty tours, will continue to be promoted via FUELL and, starting in 2007, at the Owners section of www.buell.com.
Existing BRAG clubs are encouraged to continue; however, those with BRAG in the title will need to adopt new names. In addition, each dealer will be responsible for obtaining insurance of their club and/or dealer-sponsored events.

Attached is a list of Frequently Asked Questions and answers so that you are prepared to answer questions Buell owners may have over the next few weeks. These FAQs will also be prominently posted on www.buell.com.

The bottom line is that we are improving the privileges and ownership experience for all Buell owners more than ever before. And we're giving you the flexibility to engage sport bike customers the best way you see fit in your market.

We hope you're as excited about these forthcoming changes as we are! More information will be coming in future issues of FUELL magazine and at www.buell.com.

How you figure? It's saying you don't need to pay to be a BRAG member. You just have to own a Buell. I kinda thought that was bogus anyway. But I don't see anything on the Buell website yet and besides, you're a 3%er Shred, What more club do you need?

Everyone going to watch the Foxnews Spincast on BulletBikes at 6:00pm this evening? I, for one will be interested to see what they say. Matter of fact, I sent the stupid bastards a letter.

To Foxnews:
"It will be interesting to hear what a totally biased, uninformed and ignorant point of view sounds like. I've seen plenty of your spincasts in the past and have no reason to believe that you will not villify ALL motorcyclists in your one day observation of one corner in the North Georgia Mountains on a Saturday. Have you heard of the AMA, have you been to T.W.O. in Suches? Have you talked with any organized motorcycle clubs? I would be very interested to see you spin that angle for a change.
I have complete faith that you will make a serious attempt to ruin the change in image that many motorcyclists are trying to redfine by your upcoming newscast. There are different kinds of motorcyclists. Let me prove it and I'll give you a chance to prove that all TV journalists are not just socially ignorant, culturally bigotted talking heads."

The I team just targeted the "sportbikes". GT was interviewed in depth it seems. they commented that it is a small percentage of folks who are doing the bad.

They have also found the "loop". Guess riding sunday is gonna suck!

I'd like to hear your explanation as well.

Lots of folks have worked very hard to overcome the "B.R.A.G. MUST be like H.O.G." mindset and create an environment that is targeted to Buell Owners.

Not for us. WE don't go 100+ miles an hour. This is an on going saga though. I've been riding that loop for 15 years and it has always been full of street racers. I will say it is getting worse though. It just takes a few to spoil the riding for everyone. I know that lumpkin county has talked about banning motorcycles. They can't because it would be unconstitutional. Thank God!

Amen....brother Drift. I bet that when they were filming the bikes passing them they were going under the posted speed limit to make it more dramatic.

OK, here is the disappointing news...The Teresi Drag truck will not be here for our Anniversary next weekend. Somehow, when we made our calendar of events, we moved the party to the 2nd weekend in November. Historically our Anniv. Party has been the first weekend, meaning the truck is booked for next weekend. F*ck.

HEY.....Just walked in the door.

I wasn't upset about the new changes.....

Should be some good changes and "we'll see what becomes of the Buell owners group, riding events.A lot of the same benefits, Homecoming, etc.

I'm a 3%er and don't really care one way or the other as long as any changes are good ones.

All I really care about is

Family first....

then riding with the
3%er's, March Demos...which SMHD takes care of and is one of the funniest things to do every year, track days, mountain riding and knee draggin' with my knee draggin buds..

I have much better things to do than be a "TROLL" on the computer.

We saw the news last night, the wrecker guy call sport bikes "Bullet bikes"

I only know Silver_bullet.....and he's not one of the squid motor donors...

They don't know about the 'Old school loop' and all the other great roads.
