Hey guys, 2 things if anyone is interested:
1-A friend of mine has a buddy that hang glides and I plan on going to watch this Saturday to see if I want to do it and not chicken out. If I decide that I am going to do it, Kdan and I plan on going back Saturday Oct 14th to Lookout Mountain if anyone else is interested.

2- Kdan and I are planning a "Bike & Hike" weekend Oct 28-29 for anyone interested. We are going to ride back roads to Cloudland Canyon early in the AM, hike in the afternoon, camp that night, hike in the AM and leave to ride back roads back to Metro Atlanta right after lunch.

We will be getting the details together ant then anyone is welcome to join us on what ever leg of the adventure that they can or suits them. Some Folks from my Hiking club will be doing the same. They don't bike so they are planning to drive up, join for the hike 1 day or the other, then drive back. We figured you guys could do the same but opposite, ride one day or the other with us and skip the hiking.

Of course both events are totally dependent on the weather just wanted you guys to know the dates in case it was something you might be interested in.

I want my bike back! Bambi's faster than I am! On a positive note, she looks a whole lot better from behind!!

The Blast is good fun though, I'm getting sparks from the pegs! It's just slower than her new SV.

Well I think Kdan has decided to keep his Blast as a back up bike and if he were honest, I think he is hoping to use it to teach his oldest to ride as well...Now that he doesn't have to support me as a rider any longer!

Smoke / Bunny I need to know if ya'll have a exhaust hanger strap for my firebolt, I noticed last night that it was loose, thats cause it was snapped, I'm trying to play in the mountains tomorrow so i need it bad..... I'll be by at lunch to get it how much is it?
Also A call to any 3%ers who may want to run the loop/ show me the way tomorrow morning, I'm not looking for a big group, maybe a couple. Charlie, If there is anything i can do to help get your bike back up and runnin please let me know, I want to ride with you again. I had a blast with you and Glitch, So if there is a "get new12r's ass back on the road fund" let me know I'll contribute..... Or maybe i could pick up a little part or something you may need as a wedding present..... when is the big day?

No real need for help, I am just whining cuz the wedding is coming and taking all my money. I think I have a plan and need to run it by BA later so I can place my order and get all the parts by the end of next week.

If the dealer does not have a strap you can have one of mine to get you running.

I would love to run the loop on the blast but I have to do a side job in the AM, then go get clean and hit the Chili cook off at Stone Mountain Park, then go to a coworkers party after that.

Anyone wanna go eat chili?

Well, as a fairly new rider, I still haven't decided what to think about lane splitting. Though with 2 blocks to go to get home, rain pouring down and sitting in a parking lot yesterday I decided to go for it...

Cmgaviao - I'm all for it! It's necessary some time and its a real rush. It's also illegal in GA and I've had some dickless wonders try and kill me by moving over on purpose. Beats sitting in traffic though.
