I'm up for some ridin' on thursday. B_S product review: So I have been wanting some protection when I wear my jeans for local runs...gym...."V" trips etc. I purchased the Icon Leg Field Armor. Been a while since I have been in the hills. Took it easy though 'cause of last time almost mishap. Its nice to just ride sometimes. I thought I was stuck waaayyy out on Hwy60....SO glad it was only a fuse. NewBlastR....Your a maniac. Motarding it around the turns, donuts in the dirt and grass.....I love it. Mntrider...good seeing ya again. Looks like you haven't missed a step. The only time I saw you was off the bike. Glitch.....thanks for coming back a helping me out. Enjoyed riding with ya brother. Today we had a few bike issues First Glitch blew a tube seal, then BS blew a ECM fuse, then the Blast lost speedo operation, and finally Glitch broke his shifter bolt, rode from Clevland to L-Ville in third!!!!!   Ratyson Posted on Sunday, September 17, 2006 - 10:04 pm:        Sounds like you guys had a fun day in them thar hills. Any help would be appreciated, it is NOT easy to find information on this topic. I am considering getting some ink done, and I really want to get into the tahitian style. I guess riding home in third wore me out! Not to metion the more than 200 miles! Fork tube seal gone at 46,000+ miles, POS Buells! Then that little bolt that holds the linkage to the shift lever at the case broke in half. I thought these Buells were supposed to hold together bettern that. Riding that far in that low a gear was numbing, it really did wear me out. At 5000 rpm, in third gear, will get you to somewhere between 65 and 70 mph. With some wicked acceration! The only problem I really had was getting up the driveway, for those that don't know, it's a little steep. The day as a whole was wonderful, I'd deffinately do it again, and I will! The only scarey time was when I looked in my rear view, after some pretty tight turns, and not seeing B_S. I pulled over and waited a minute or two, then headed back. I kept telling myself, he was going to come over the next hill, he didn't. As I topped the final hill, there he was on the side of the road, y'all don't know the relief I was feeling, when I saw no damage to his bike or his leather as I pulled up. Turns out his bike died from a blown ECM fuse. Buell had enough forethought to include a spare 7.5 fuse in the fuse box, so it was only a matter of figuring out what had gone wrong, and which fuse has died. After the trials he had gone through with the Race ECM, I was really worried there for a minute. Shred, it was like old times! So glad you made it up with us! Great riding with you again. New12r, no one Blasts on a Blast like you Blast on a Blast! You kept the perfect pace through the twisty bits, that I didn't mind following you at all. I wonder how many people relized they just got smoked by a "half o' harley"! Smokescreen, it was fun as usual! All we need now is to get you some real tires, and I'll not be able to keep up with you. I'll bet the pucker moments go away with those tires. I was really great seeing Mountainrider again, and riding. He'll be having surgery on the 26th, so y'all keep him in your thoughts and prayers. The doc says he can fix him. Let's all hope he does! After all that, I got home, and there was no one here, so I got out of my leather, and sat down. The next thing I know Ann is letting me know it's supper time! I had slept for 3 hours! Shred, give me a call this afternoon, and we'll take care of my shifter, thanks! I'll try to make it on thurs but not shure If it is going to be possible.
