• Barber Track Day F’in ROCKED!!!!: Showed Slide show set to some Godsmack.


• Bike General Maintenance and Inspection at the Buell Barn. Look at doing it after the weather cools off.


• Revisit 3%er shooter day????? Sanchez and New12r will be getting times, dates and cost at their places they know of.


• Cabin rental in the mountain for group. Maybe in fall. I know of a huge cabin for $250 a night in Ellijay ('http://www.rentalsouthvacations.com/property.asp?id=21');


• Wheels for Wheels benefit ride:

From Bunny “To all who are interested - there is a benefit ride to the MDA Wheels for Wheels Camp in Rutledge, GA, on Sunday, July 30. This is one of the best rides I have ever been on; last year was my first ride. The kids arrive at camp and then we ride in, greeted by all the kids circled around the driveway w/ posters, signs, etc. All the kids get a goody bag, including a build-a-bear. After arriving, we go inside and interact with the kids (painting nails, applying temporary tattoos, talking with and just hanging out with them). There is also a bike show that the kids vote on and the winner gets a plaque with a picture drawn by one of the campers. The kids wait the entire year for this day and love to see all the bikes come through. Registration is from noon - 1:30 p.m. @ SMHD and the ride leaves out @ 2 p.m. (police-escorted). If anyone is interested or has any questions, please call me here at the shop (770.979.7999) or go to future events tab on www.stonemountainhog.org.”




Next thursday will be a local ride on some twisties lead by our own New12r. We figured a little change of pace was in order for a Thursday night out. We will meet at SMHD/Buell as usual. You don't have to be the fastest just not the slowest...the cops can't catch us all!

A friend of mine, Zac, just got taken out by a left turner and is in the hospital. They already gave him a titanium eyesocket and I'm hoping for maybe a clear window like the Ducs and Vincents had to see the cam drive gears. Don't know if any of you knew him, but he had a BMW R1100S and several vintage scooters.

If you guys can throw a little aid his way, the below link also has the paypal address, info on raffles, as well as current info. I know it would be appreciated as they just had a baby and his wife is still out on maternity leave.

He had all his gear on and the report is that he's doing better.

Ok ya'll, I ordered my Service Manual today, but i need to do an oil change,primary change this weekend. If someone has the time and tools to show/help me do it i would be very grateful, as i just need someone to point things out and tell me how, this is my first American bike, I'm used to the jap bikes and have done plenty to them so im not necessarily a monkey with a wrench, i kinda know my way around a garage. Please let me know if anyone has time saturday. Thanks.

Ratyson.....nothing special man....to be legit with Brag you have to have a sponsoring dealership. No minimum # of members. I believe that Glitch and Shred were the first two 3%ers to exists. You need monthly meetings and at least 1 official charity ride per year. You also need officers. You get a Brag manual with some forms to fill out and such but that is it.....Oh, it doen't hurt for all the members to be Brag members. I believe the officers have to. Clown can tell you more if I missed anything

B_S, Thanks for the info.
I was under the impression that all members had to be Brag members as well, but if not, that may make it even easier. I will check with Rocket HD/Buell about sponsoring us, with the way they have been promoting buell lately, that probably won't be a problem, they have really changed in that respect for the better!

Dude this sucks I want to be at the party tonight but, I am now a proud owner of a unicycle or at least until I can get new tires.
It kind of went like this 100 100 100 push right go right, push left go left, push right go nowhere sh!t . So I got off the side of the road on 75 and with in a minute my rear tire was flatter than a 10 year old prepubescent school girl in a wind tunnel wearing a halter top.
Then upon closer inspection I found that the ol sportmax
Had been more violated by forighn objects than an alter boy at a chatolic boyscout camp. So the long and short of it, I'm going to the devil and getting a set of diablos ss and I'll see yall hopefully next Thurs if possible.
