Kdan was riding and when he stopped at the phone booth just before TWO he heard a screaching sound. Now his fan isn't working so he was wondering if it would be possible to get him in to get it fixed 1st thing Wed Morning? If so, What time? They said bring it in Wed and they will try to work it in before Barber. (This is not a guarantee!!!) They are already over booked for the week, so try calling before you come up Wed and I'll see what is going on. Glitch, that looks f***ing sweet! can you do some smoke coming off the barrels? Plus you may not need to put the combat engineer on there, that looks pretty good the way it is. But as usual I will let you do your thing then decide. Thanks for the help. Congrats Mark!!!! I knew that victory beer would do him good, I wish I could have stayed to watch his race but the crash took all the time I had sunday. Well folks given my current driving record and my passion for going fast I am going to get involved in WERA. I will give more details as they come. I need to know if they have the part and how much before I see how badly I want to drop it off for the warranty work, or just buy the part and do it myself. Do you have a fan for my '03 XB9S in stock? If SMHD can give me the fan for $50, which is what they'd get if I let them do the warranty work then I won't tie them up at all...I'll call first thing Wed. morning. Needless to say, I didn't get my bikeload of firecrackers...Sucks, but me and my kid probably just would have gotten arrested anyway. I made it as far as T.W.O. when the weather prompted me to stop and hang out with the other poor stranded bastards. That's when my fan crapped and kicked a code to ignite the check engine light. Let me know when you want to go see Ed Bargy, I'll come with you. I saw one XB9R in the novice HWT class race, he can in last place. He's doing better than me. He's racing... I'm going to a DVT(blood clot) specialist after Barber. I can always order one, but that takes at least a week. Sorry I can't do anymore for you before Barber. I can call the out of state dealers and have it overnighted, but that is super expensive. I'll do what I can to make sure we have what you need. Glitch, No problem. It's just the m-16 is what I used ( besides my M-240g). That would be cool if you found those! They are belt-fed, so don't know how that would look. Anyway thanks for help. Witnesses reported seeing a flash of light shortly before the motorcyclist struck the center divider on U.S. 36 Wednesday, police spokesman Tim Read said. Gary Missi, 46, of Longmont was pronounced dead at the scene. A coroner's investigation was under way to determine whether the lightning bolt, the collision or something else caused his death, Read said. Thanks for the help, though! I did get the last living fan in Ga. and don't believe what anybody tells you, the XB really needs the fan! I chatted with Cam, Vicki, Chris and when I asked where Phil was, they said he doesn't come in til Noon. Noon! What the heck is that!? I've already done 6-7 hours by noon! Tell Chris I left my Vin# for the Blast so he can g'head and order me those keys.
