Well, we only won the auction for the wheels. Some Ahole outbid me with 7 seconds left, and I didn't get my next bid in time for the plastics. He only needed the wheels to get the bike back out on the road, but it would have been awesome to get that full set of plastics and tank to just swap out. Gentlemen: It's getting closer...mark you calendars...get permission...whatever you need to do. July 14th, 15th and 16th is the Biker Boyz Weekend in Tulsa, OK. Accommodations will be provided by yours truly. Its gonna be a weekend of sport bikes and twisty Oklahoma/Arkansas riding. You also get to see me!   Some of you have already committed to riding down Friday after work. Larry and I have been kicking around plans that include checking out the actual Biker Boyz Weekend event, as well as chillin at my place and tearing up the back roads. Thanks for the tire Sam! I got it mounted at Central yesterday. To bad they didn't have any lube for me because they charged me $42.50! Oh well, at least I'm riding again. I'm planning to make the trip on the 14th. I'll be able to say for sure in the next couple weeks. | ||

Hey... DasBuell checking in. With the new job I am traveling a lot. I will be working in Coffeyville KS all of July and possibly all of August. I have a bunch of great guys working for me, so I should get to come home every other weekend at the very least. I have a new BMW. NO... no I did not get rid of my R1100RA. This one has four tires. A 2006 BMW 330xi. It is a fast little thing for an all wheel drive. I hit 104 indicated on my GPS, and it had a whole bunch left! The good thing, the majority of my driving is business related for the new job, and they pay $.50 a mile. So the $3.00+ a gallon for premium does not hurt so bad. I am averaging 25 MPG. I don't yet know the entire schedule, even though I am the one who writes the schedule. But Independence/Coffeyville KS can't be that far from Tulsa. I might be off that weekend, but I don't know if I want to trailer the XB9 behind the Honda CR-V to the job site. The BMW has spoiled me! Any way...
