Kurt Harder of SPHD would like know if anyone would be interested in leading some of the Buell test rides this Saturday (June 1st) for the Open House. He knows it's short notice, but any help would be appreciated. There will also be a BRAG table set up again near the Buells to help prospective buyers and members get all the information they need. Kurt will "spiff" anyone that helps sell a Buell that day. $$$$$ The next meeting will be WEDNESDAY JUNE 12th, 7:00pm in the BRAG room of SPHD. It was requested of the chapter that the second Wednesday of the month be the regular meeting time. This change was made so we could have the BRAG room scheduled for the rest of the year. The guest speaker for June is Shawn Edgerton of Edge Performance who will tell us how we can take a driving class at Brainerd International Raceway and have the course open to us for the day! There will also be a rep from Bikers Choice to show off some of their ballistic riding clothes. | ||

Dave and everyone else that went to the meeting yesterday, did you guys find a time for some rides or a track day with Sean. After doing the LCR track school at RA yesterday, I have to definitely say that I will be doing another. There was also a guy Bill who lives in Blomington that is intersted in some more trackdays. No real way to discribe dragging a peg halfway around the carousel or holding it open in 5th through the little "S" after the kink, unreal comes to mind. Mike E  | ||

Sean, The weather was great! We didn't gt rained on at all. It came very close but we missed all of it. It was a VERY warm ride back home. Upper 90's, lower 100's. Brad, I went out to Lakeville Harley today to pick up a few things. A guy in the parking lot had a V&H pipe on his S3T. WOWSERS did that sound awsome. I think I am going to buy the pipe tomarrow and would love to get it on asap. I lost your number-long story, computer crashed and had to erase hard drive and put new OS in, XP thank God! OK so now I'm thinking of riding again. I had a good conversation with Kurt Harder (St. Paul HD)in reference to the BRAG club. I told him of the concerns the group had last year and what needs to happen to make it a success. He was very open to making any changes that would improve the club. (I also talked with some other dealers and they did not seem to have the same energy as SPHD) My vote is to continue the relationship with SPHD for another year. Feedback?? Comments?? As for some of the changes, SPHD will mail a flyer to all owners of Buells that received service at the store. This should get out to a couple hundred owners in the area. This is something that never happened. Kurt also wants a different store liaison that can put more time and effort into the club. Kurt also told me they have a great incentive program to clear out all of their "tube frame" Buells. Anyone who buys a Buell will get a FREE trip for two to Deals Gap along with their new bike. Details to follow...... If anyone from the BRAG group refers a new owner, you get $300.00 in a store credit. Not a bad deal! |
