Well, I have good newz and bad newz! My suit got here today, and it fits great. I would post a few pics but I don't want to get anyone excited, thats the good news! The FD changed my schedule and now I'm kinda out for this track day, unless I can find someone to trade with, so I can go! Not looking good! Oh Well, Maybe by the next trackday, I'll have a new mod or three for the FB.  Whats up with public servants having to work all the time, would you 911 systems abusers quit calling so I can go do some fun sh|+. | ||

Ordered a new rotor today..helmet should be here Friday or so...tires should arrive this week or early next week...might be cutting it close but should make it fine for Wed. On a side note..you guys should be proud of me...lost 20 Lbs. since I bought my suit  Racing is wonderful motivation, isn't it folks? Aiming for 200-210 by the end of the year...anyone wanna bet me a cheeseburger that I can do it? heeheehee Hippie Dave, I think I'm gonna go ahead and have you order those relocators for me. Hello there Cyclone1 or Shazam....I will be hauling my Firebolt down on Wednesday night. Wondering if you guys had room for one more person to crash over at the Bluffs Motel? This will be my forth track day at MAM, and sleeping in the front seat of the pickup isn't much fun. Unless of course the space was shared with a trophy gurl. Such as 69 to pass the time with. Rod, I am sure there will be room I have four people going up for sure on wed night, and six beds.....If a bed goes unfilled I will eat the cost but for everyone else it's $25 bucks give or take....and yes you may have to put up with a thousand questions about what to expect and so on.... *WARNING: the front seat of your truck may be safer than the Bluffs motel while we're there....or may just smell better! anyone with Questions or needing to get a hold of me can call (913) 244-4195 I will be out of town again Sunday thru Tues so I probably won't see this board between now and then.....I'll sucker some bitch on this site to let me know if anything posts up! Keeping my fingers crossed Dave....ordered a bunch of shit this week that I pretty much gotta have now! decided to go ahead and put the heads on the firebolt monday...Frank is THE man. didn't have head gaskets on hand.....still THE man Can't run the stage III heads (shouldn't) without PCIII (hopefully out today next day air) so monday earliest if it went out today! ordered new front rim and rotor assy from Buell due to the fact that I don't have down time available for warranty assesment....hopefully here on Tues....if not run with warpage (new tire though....) bought set of tires....waiting for the rim from Buell. Still need to Double check suspension settings all around...... Leave town on Business Sun morning back Tues?..... On a decent note.....Someone offered up a fresh XB9S just in case, hahahahaha, don't think I won't! Excited is an understatement! Dave why don't you post a list of tech related issues in case some of us are overlooking something! (like removing mirrors, kickstand?, clamping filter) stuff like that! It might save me some grief Thurs morn. | ||

Just installed my Force exhaust I cant wait to try it out,sounds way cool,especially when I rolled the throttle Hope everybody gets what they are waiting for and need for track day.Im also hoping everybody from our camp has a great time and comes back unscathed along with their bikes.I may have to drive myself so Frank wont have to listen to me ramble on LOL.By the way,my primary gasket appeared to be torn above the bolt that came out,replaced the gasket,no biggie. | ||

Bring duct tape for your lights, tools to take off your mirrors, tires must be 80%, no fluid leaks(hint, wash you bike before you get there),full leathers(courdura is accepted) must be one peice or zip together, boots that are at least 8" if they are lace up you have top tape the laces, guantlet gloves that cover the wrist,full face helmet with unscratched visor. That's about it. Bring a cooler of water,pop and such. NO BEER ALLOWED ON TRACK PROPERTY! they will kick you out! They do have food at the track and it's pretty good. We will be bringing some pop up tents and picnic tables to sit around when we are not on the track. Spare parts that might break if you crash! I will have a few with me. Frank, can you bring along an extra belt for an XB? Gas cans with gas in them! Unless you want to pay out the ass for gas at the track. You can fill the cans at the station by the hotel, they have premium! Anybody need me to bring anything? I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!! Ride to the edge! Dave |
