I'm back in town, so let me know what's going on..... I need to get another batch of the relocators made so give me a week, but Frank is right $20 for a stainless steel set. Burrrr! We're back in the ICE age.... Looks to be clearing and back to normal next week.  Sam hows the track attack bike coming?? Just thought I'd ask.... Sense we have moved our gathering night back to Wed's, we have noticed a decline in attendance. Can we make a plan to meet on additional night during the week as to draw and larger group? Paddy-O'Quigley's in Lee's Summit has a bike night on Thursdays... if anyone is interested. Bill or Sam how are we coming on talks with Central HD/Buell on getting sponsorship and involvement for a BRAG. What is our next step? | ||

I haven't attended for previously stated reasons, but everything "should" be back to normal next week. Preparations almost complete for track day...helmet on its way, should get new rear shock next week, tires should be at my doorstep real soon...Oh, I'm in the process of buying a sporty motor for 500 bucks  Think I'll find me an X1 frame on EbAy and build a "real" trackbike  | ||

The track Attack (1987 Yammer FZ600) is progressing......slowly, I picked up the bike last night. It needs a carb job and tires and probably fork seals.....so far! I'm gonna do an oil and filter change this weekend. I got lots of spares with it bodywork, pistons, elec. harness, and all the origional gauges, lights, and road stuff....with title! ffor a thousand bucks....and yes, it runs! I also bought a front end off of a 94 FZR600R in case I decide to upgrade the brakes and forks......we'll see after I tear up the neighborhood a little. here's a glimpse....  If I can't get it all done before April 10, I will put the bolt to work! I also want to get some seat time on it before then as well..... As for the meetings.....I'll let you all just post where and when you want to meet and we can go from there...... | ||

Hey, met several of you at the Shawnee Mission Park by the water tower. I was riding the racing stripe. I work for Gail's Harley Davidson. Just go wanted to say Hi. I'm getting ready to install a Forcewinder, Storz steering dampner, and carbon tank fill-ins. Anybody have any tips on the Forcewinder? | ||

The ID of the force winder is almost 1/8" smaller opening. Set a carb gasket over the mounting flange. Port it to the correct opening for best performance. Be careful where it indents that you don't go threw. You can sand it down till it's almost flush. The 3" oval is the best filter tho. Us an air drill with a 50 grit sanding wheel. Stop by some time when we meet. Right now it is Wed. at the Other Place in Overland Park. We meet at about 6:30 to 7:00. | ||

Bill ported my Forcewinder and put a 3" extension on at the same time. This combination picked up 5 hp. Have not taken the extension off to see which brought the power or if the combination happened to work well together, but the ID mismatch of the Force was worrisome. | ||

Get rid of the Force and get a Wes-tec air filter.Bill has shown by the dyno that the Force air breather,takes away HP.They look cool,but arent the best for performance. | ||

V2win - viper red, thanks for noticing! Chris - it was cyclone1 and myself you met at the tower.....and pay attention to the above posts each of these punks is packin' 100 horsies... Looks like the track bike might be in trouble....possible bad valve seals, getting compression in valve cover......some of you bitches may get your wish! I don't think I will have time to straighten it all out before the 10th.........sigh. | ||

Only 11 days left before we hit the track! Our heads will be back from Hoban Brothers Racing tomorrow. The plan is to have them back together by Friday, that will give Doug and I the weekend(Sunday) to put some break in miles on them before we go to MidAmerica next week. Ride to the edge!
