Gentlemen and Ladies,

(I toss the gentlmen around loosely) I had heard of a ride to led by Kurt this weekend or on the 30th? I finally have the ignition gremlins out of the S3 and itching to prove the improbable has possibilities. Also still looking for the Southside contingent to configure a plan to meld with Bomber's crew for the ride to Homecoming. Open for all suggestions.

Keith

The weather forecast for this weekend is looking very WET at this time. I'd like to postpone my scheduled "Curt's Curvy" ride to some other weekend in May if that's OK with everyone else.

Sunday May 21st. Libertyville Buell Open House. Demos, etc. Erik and the Thunderbolts live! They are not Grammy winners, but fun to listen to in small doses. Probably a good chance to get your bike or T-shirt signed if you are into that kind of deal.
Is this your turf Bomber?
I'm hoping to leave Southwest burbs about 9:30 if anyone is interested in going. Heading up 355/53/83.}

heads-up!

Illinois will begin using photo radar in freeway work zones in July. Second offense tickets are $1,000 with license suspension. Beginning in July the State of Illinois will use speed cameras in areas designated as "Work Zones" on major freeways. Anyone caught by these devices will be mailed a $375.00 ticket for the FIRST offense, but the SECOND offense will cost $1000.00 and comes with a 90-Day suspension. Drivers will also receive demerit points against their license, which allows insurance companies to raise their rates. This represents the harshest penalty structure yet for a city or state using PHOTO endorsements. The State will begin with TWO camera vans issuing tickets in work zones with speed limits lowered to 45 MPH. Photographs of both the Driver's face and License plate are taken.

Pass this on to everyone you know !!!!

Steve- I'm all for riding into the Crud Run as a big group but I don't know what our group's plan is yet. Our chapter meets this Thursday and I'm sure we'll talk about it and hammer things out. John

Greg,

I rode Bluff Road last night and was surprised to see that the construction work happening at the top of the hill is for the 355 extension, not a sub-division of houses. They are constructing an overpass right over the top of the hill. That's good news, as it seems that stretch of Bluff Road will be saved! It will be interesting to see how they continue the highway to the south because it's a quick drop of around 300 feet after they crest the hilltop. Check it out.

I was thinking we could meet here:
http://tinyurl.com/o3b8s
for the slimey crud run...

Now Brew City is leaving New Berlin at 8:30, making a quick stop on HWY18 to pick up a couple of members. So I'm guessing we'd get to Monona at around 10:15AM. Don't quote me on that time yet, I'm just guessing. I have to plot out the route, and figure the times yet. Just giving the Windy City group an option to talk about at this evening's meeting.

I'm bad with names, so who was there from the Chicago area that I meet at Leland?
Two guys rode with us heading home and along the way everyone takes their respected exit.
Sorry about some of the confusion going home. The leader had us do a "U" turn on the way to Leland also.

Does Zach still have his M2?

If he does I have a set of crossroad handle bars he may be interested in.

Yes, Zac still has his M2. I'll mention you've got bars. Any more info?

Sounds like the Crud Run was fun. Had to be the best weather for it ever. Sorry I missed it.
