I just got back from a nice ride in the mountains. Shred and I had to work in Dalonega so... I rode the bike this morning to work and threw the leather in Shreds truck(he could not play today though). After work I suited up and rode off, roads were pretty clean, right back to normal on 180, richard russel was alright but still to much to go fast. The weather was perfect for riding, cool breeze so I didnt sweat, partly cloudy sky so the temps were warm and the road was warm enough to grip. I thought a guy from SSB would have called but he did not show? Oh well had fun solo,
Oh yeah and I rode a Third Gear Stand Up for over a MILE!!!!!!! That was fun.

Oh man! I bet Kdan wishes he had known that. He was off today. He went paddling instead. We did have an OK ride this morning into work taking the back roads. Not the same as heading North though.

Just a friendly reminder:


April 29th
Registration at 9:00
$25 per bike, riders $5
T-shirts to first 200 riders
Each person will get one ticket for the door prizes, but can buy more for $1.00.
There will be a 50/50 pot. For example if the pot is $300, the winner will
receive $150 and $150 goes to the Relay for Life.
Start at 10:00 at West Jackson Intermediate, ride is about 1-1/2 hours long,
ends at Hurricane Shoals where there will be drawings for door prizes. The ride
is suppose to go to historical places around Jackson County. Lunch will be
served at Hurricane Shoals, probably hamburgers on the grill.
This is for Relay for Life. Our school is trying to raise the most amount of
money and beat the other schools in the county for the most money raised.

For those of you who didn't make the meeting. We will be meeting at Cycle Gear in Lawrenceville at between 8:00 and 8:30 am. We will head out at 8:45am. It's no blast in the twisties but I'm sure sure we can make it fun. Plus....my own mother has called out for the 3%ers help and support. Maybe New12R can show us those 3rd gear wheelies during the ride and get us kicked out or some hooligan nonsense like that. At the least we will get a t-shirt and food in our bellies.

I think it would be best to leave by 8:30 and we can hit the back roads(yes, I mean curvey roads) to Hamilton Mill at 124 to Hoschton. It will take about 45min to an Hr.

I'm not sure that it would have them coming out of the wood works but I could use it to get rid of those pesky panhandlers!
