Well guys, I bit the bullet and decided to quit riding in the winter... my knees get too cold! Every year I get a little older I am less able to deal with the temperature extremes. that trip I took to minnesota in march (arrival temp of 16 degrees) should have been the point at which I quit riding, period....however being the slow learner that I am......Okay, Okay...I bought the widder suit today, yes the vest, chaps, arm chaps, gloves and thermostat.....got home and realized I forgot the battery cable. being the slow learner that I am...... if I can sneak by HUB tomorrow while I am supposed to be "working" all won't be lost. I leave for Arkansas on sunday and was thinking about taking the bike with me on this business trip! So... Frank, I may or may not drop it off for you this weekend! If I don't you'll know I've snuck off to scout roads for the Spring runs!!!! hahahahaha | ||

Sam,you WONT be sorry!You will love riding warm now,when previously you thought you were!I talked to Blue Springs HD today,Hugh,told him about my shock,we went back and sent the paper work through.He will try to replace it for me without the 100$ charge!I will let you all know how that turns out. | ||

Sam...Just saw your question regarding the Slimy Crud...It's the first Sunday in May...On of the HSTAers, G'Dave (guess where he's from) went last year and had a blast...Apparently it's quite a mid-west happening, especially for those further north than us...But right about now, it feels pretty "north" right here...He "iron butted" it home and went to work on Monday...Let's kinda look into meeting your entourage in Columbia MO and then a straight shot up 63 to Waterloo... Alright guys, WAKE UP! got my Latus exhaust installed (gotta hear it!) race ecm in place...waiting on wheel bearings. adding the touring seat too. X1 body work is at the painters...gonna pull the heads this weekend and start the reconstruction process. Update: as of right now a few of us are planning on visiting Nallins this coming weekend anyone who wants to tag along is welcome just give me a call @ (913)244-4195 so I can get a head count. this is still a little tentative as I have yet to contact Brian. | ||
