Davegess I'll be staying at the Victorian right next door to Seibkens.I was there last year but didn't see you. The resort area is just fantastic at night during that weekend isn't it?? |

It is very cool but i am still bummed that the Osthof was built and closed the road. You used to be able to take a lap of the old street course.
I pulled out pretty early last year, probably on th way home by 6:30 pm, hope to stay later this year. |

Dana, do you have any pics or websites to post concerning the places and events in and around Elkhart Lake?
Di is off to LVN for a trade show that weekend and I am free to play for a change. Am wondering if I want two nights in Appleton or one there and the other closer to Elkhart.
Just want to be social and enjoy the group activities this year. However, this is getting a tad confusing concerning what the deal is.

Bill check out www.elkhartlake.com The Osthoff,seibkens and The Victorian are all right next door to one another. Seibkens has a huge patio with a pretty long side walk that run through the property that the motorcycle enthusiasts park and line the walk way at night. It also has a very large out door bar and dining area. The victorian over looks the lake has pools a spa's outside and Fine dining and also a walkway that runs through the property that leads to awesome TIKI bar thats on the lake. I'll see if I have some pics from last year. |

I doubt it Rice more Buells people in Appleton. This is just attraction area that is awesome to see.... say Saturday evening. A small handful of us will be staying there. I made my reservations there last year or I would be staying in Appleton no doubt. Don't get confused with this Appleton is the destination for the event Host hotel and dinner and dealer. |

well i figure appleton is fine with me. probably swing into east troy friday on the way before goin to the hotel, cant check in till 3 anyway.
sounds like one of my friends might be coming with me. dont know if we would bring his tl1000r or if id just bring both my r's assuming i still have both. if he doesnt come along im gona have an extra bed so maybe someone might end up needing a spot to crash at the last minute. with my friend, i wont know for sure for awhile, lol.
hate to say it but we will probably trailer up or something though. i dont know if my arm and hip can take riding straight through that long and i know his arm is in about the same shape(we both about got them ripped off) guess i'll know more on that though after i get to put some more miles on this summer. |

The track is awesome talking with Erik and sitting down a catching a race with him is a memory its self. The man loves his job. The hospitality area which we will have again this year.

Dana...Thanks great pics and I appreciate the websites. Think I will just take a run up to Elkhart and Appleton and see whats available.
Still, for me, going with the flow at homecoming is what I would like to do. So I will wait for the "Official Itinerary" before making any decisions. |

Bill pretty much.... the host hotel we have which is posted when you open this thread. We will be nailing down with Dave as soon as he gets back.Then We'll be nailing down a time with Brian Nallin for a Tour. So this is kinda the Itinerary.
1. Friday the factory tour,seminars,and lunch at Buell.Also purchase your Road America tickets.
2. Friday check in at host Hotel and Dinner... either by Dave at the dealership or we will make other arrangements.... no problem.
3. Saturday go to to Road America races and Brag Hospitality area. Then sometime in the afternoon... time yet to be released a tour of Revolution Performance.
4. Sunday Brag Hospitality area and the Races.
We have this so far but tweaking things yet some. |

I'll be staying again at the Osthoff and will possibly have room (maybe only floor space)if someone is in need of a little rest. And yes Nothin beats Saturday nite at the square or anywhere in Elkhart for that matter.
