Mr. Bill mentioned something about "the Peanut"(?)on Metcalf(?) having some most rightious grub  Which brings up a question I had. Do we still wanna meet, being Turkeyday and all? I have no family around here, so I'm game. A guy with a X1 wants to join us as well...he's from Gardner. I'm gonna run over to his house and help him out with his loose starter, sometime in the morn/afternoonish, hehe. I've got a couple more suggestions to throw in the "meetingplace pot"...There's a newer place on Leavenworth road called "The Triple tree"...don't know if its worth a shit, but we could try it some time. Also Johnny's off of Shawnee Mission Parkway and Pflumm. They usually have yummy waitress...err...I mean wings there. Looks like I found a big-O box full of XB stuff today...the "essential" XB maintenance kit...brake pads, air cleaners, clutch levers(for possible spills in tight corner parking lots  ) Parts didn't wanna mess with it, so they just set it aside wishing it would dissapear, I guess...I get so sick of Harley mentality.... That's all I got... Frank p.s. Sam, I guess that means you can pick up your XB maintenance stuff at yer "friendly" Harley/Blast dealer, hehe | ||

Frank .. I would be more inclined to meet tomorrow night, due to the holiday. I have had a poor experience finding a place to eat on thanksgiving night in the past. I'll let everyone think about it and let me know.... Jeff | ||

Welcome Usapitbullz. How did you find us? I say lets meet this week at The Other Place and decide on another meeting place. I may be working late but I will have to see. Usapitbullz finish your profile so we can see what your riding. We are a pretty tame bunch. Motorcycle enthusiast we are. I must get back to the garage and finish creating that street rod project. I guess if it weren't for the weather I'd never get it done. Let's see Frank can't get there till 6:45 ish so lets say 6:00 to 6:30. I may be late. Ok, then..it's agreed ..meet tomorrow at "The Other Place" around 6:30ish think its 79th street you turn on off of metcalf to get there, incase you didn't already know. Joe We met last night the 27th due to the holiday. We will let you know via this site where next week our gathering will be. Sorry if we threw you off. Our winter gathering day has been moved to Thursday of Wednesday. You will need to carry a sign with you next week "KC MOB" so we can pick you out of the crowd!! Jeff | ||

We're going to go someplace else (we'll decide where on here before next thursday ) next week on THURSDAY. Richie, I didn't get a chance to thank ya for dinner last night...I'll buy next round Sam, I keep forgetting to ask ya....burn those digital pics off for me sometime, would ya? Yes, I ended up having to work a little later than I thought. I will be working on Thursday next week all day and night, so will be unable to meet up next week. I should of rode my bike to work today, what a day it might turn out to be, its only tommorrow mornings weather that I have to worry about when I'm coming home. See Ya, Joe | ||

Sam, I've rode the track days here at Gateway once in the rain. http://www.midwestrider.com/ They also have instructor days as well as WERA racing. All I had to do on my S3 was tape mirrors and glass. It is sweeeeeeeeet. Start off in novice but you'll advance easily to intermediate or...higher. DAve | ||
