Luckily, my daughter, having lived with me, is way to smart to get hooked up with scooter trash and the like (phew) . . .. the down-side, of course, is that the pendulum will swing so far the other way that she'll likely get involved with a bunch of young republican CPA and lawyers and such . . . . . .

In SoCal, we call that "Marriage for Fun and Profit." I believe they teach it in high school in lieu of Home Ec. Personally lost out to it twice. Trust me, even with it's idiosyncrasies, the X1 is far less trouble and much more satisfying. LMAO...What a life!

Speaking of daughters and daughters of friends...Did anyone here this on the news....I heard it this morning on Lazer 103 in Milwaukee:

An Israeli man was out of town on business. He calls the local "business man" to have a young lady friend stop by his hotel room. There's a knock on the door and the man opens it....only to find the call girl is his daughter! The man has a heart attack and needs to be rushed to the nearest hospital!

I not quite sure if he is lucky or not, but he survives the ordeal. Then he goes home and tells his wife the whole story!

That sounds like a friend of mine that had an affair with a younger woman. They went their own ways for a weekend. She with friends and he to his daughters wedding. Imagine the shock when the girlfriend answered the door at the daughters house. Turns out she was in the wedding party and the Mrs. was standing there too.

Fortunately I learn from the mistakes of others but their encounters sure make for lively discussion.

Here goes again, i am riding up, so i can hear some stories from Bill, talk to John, relax and have a cup of coffe maybe something to eat, afterward, i am going to look at a couple bikes, relax, hear some stories about SoCal from Bill(he has way to many, lived near some of the people i have read about for years) kick some tires, than book home, really not interested in a cold ride this weekend, the crud run kinda took it out of me, and work was a little much this week, sorry to spoil the fun just not up to it
