That was easy ... the jewels on ice for a week and subsequent healing kept me off the bike for over a month

Bob,

I have eaten there before. Its been about 5 years but as I recall the food was pretty good. most meals if I remember correctely ran in the $8 to $12 range. I have a few things to do in the morning. I am hoping to reach Louisiana about 10:30. I will try to meet you guys at the gas stations on the north end of Louisiana. There are two right next to the bridge to Illinois.

Dave you in?? I owe you a meal!

It don't look like I get to make wayne's :( Headed to Florida (MMI) for EMS (Engine Management Systems) otherwise I wouldn't miss it! We had a 2002 XL1200C dynoe'd today...made 87 HP and 89 FT# was waaayyy lean, so we're expecting around 90 hp+ft# at the real wheel with Thunderstorm heads, S.E. Performance cams, Mikuni 42, and all the other bolt on junk ;) Just thought I'd throw that out there, for whatever good it does...I think I'll still go through with my 88 motor, and make a custom tail section so I can hide the laughing gas......heehee, fun fun

John,
Switch is in the mail, bro ;)

Tripper,
If I don't see ya before I leave, good luck to ya! And we'll be seeing you at the gap next year :)

Keith,
Hope to see you there as well...heeheeheehee

I'm out...
Frank

Mark...Ok, Ok, you talked us into it...John, my cousin Greg LaMear and I will be there...

Keith...Sorry about the change in plans...I didn't realize tomorrow was DuQuoin and it may be very memorable if Nicky gets his mile win before going on to conquer the world in MotoGP...

All...Check here this evening for our plans for departure...The gates open at 11...We're thinking about an early depart to ride a bit, have a leisurely breakfast...We do want to watch the practice a bit, visit the pits, etc...

See Ya!

Anybody heading north???? :( Oh, Well, I'm riding 79 anyway. Kind of had my mind set on it! :)

Can't say I really blame you guys. I got a chance "The Kid" last year at the Springfield Mile. He didn't win it, obviously, but it was something to see. He spent most of the afternoon hanging out and listening to rap music in his Chevy Suburban.

John,
Did the switch help any? You might try setting it to 5-6 like the dressers are..it will advance a lil later that way. Lemme know if you get the pinging taken care of.

Racerboy,
I see you're still riding the beemer around...What's the matter with the Buell? Have they figured it out yet?

DAve,
You get a front tire on that damn thing yet?? :P LOL

Tripper,
Some pretty cool ol' bikes there...damn, wish I could make it :(
