DAve, Motorsports Cycle Center in Highland. I'm sticking with the Metzeler Z4s. I'd like M1s but can't afford to change tires more often than I already am  . I think he charges $35/tire if you bring in the rims and tires, free if you buy tires from him and bring in rims, $25 if you buy from him and bring the whole bike. Motorsports just lost a wrench to the lure of the construction trade so they're currently looking for help. Mariabelen usually starts lunch anywhere from 11:30-12. I heard Bob can go pretty much whenever he wants and I'm pretty free too. How about the new St Louis Bread Co on Manchester just before the East & West bound lanes converge? Lake Trip: I just booked CCryder, Neil from Princeton IN, in the Williamsburg Inn, 5969 Hwy 54, (573.348.2267). They had about six rooms open when I called this morning. It looks like it's about a mile South of Town & Country Motel. Thunder, ...I'm still planning on two of your group using the third room I have. It looks like we are set. Dave, ...Any luck on that kitchen pass? If so, the plan is to meet up with you and Neil in St. James, on Saturday morning. I will be in that area Friday night. | ||

Paul Thanks!!  When we called I mentioned your name, next thing I know, they went from almost sold out to having another Dlb. I'll keep the Princeton Inn number for any others wanting to ride. | ||

Paul, Was I the Dave N splittin' with you or am I fending for my own? Goin' with the Dunlop 220 'cause Discount tire is out of them right now. Will have more in by Thursday/Friday but I don't wanna wait. By the way ... the sales guy (Seth) digs Buells though he rides a TL. He's hooked on the the V twins now but insurance is too much for the rice fed cycles ... he's lookin' Buell. I'll take the wheel to RPM in Belleville for the swap. Josh and Mariabelen, Kevin...The Bread Company sounds great...How about if we meet At Mariabelen's place of work at 11:45?...Kevin, take 270 north, west on Manchester and work your way immediately to the right to the Des Peres exit...Go straight at the bottom of the ramp across Des Peres...Mariabelen's office is in the first building (white) north of the Des Peres Cinema... Leave for the Lake...I forgot that John is on vacation this weekend and can leave Saturday morning...Paul, I noticed that you said you were meeting Neil in St James...Does that mean you're riding the interstate to there and if so what is the rest of your route?...The Elbow Inn is open on Saturdays (think BBQ)...It's just south and east of the Dixon exit on Z...If you don't want to ride the superslab you can work your way out 50, 28 and 42 and take a sidetrip south through Jerome to the Elbow Inn...We'll talk more throughout the week... Put it under Jeff Griswold, I already have a room so they can guarentee late arrival. Just spoke to Rich and Bill about what time to leave Sat. I do know Rich and I will be departing KC at 6pm probably arrive around 8:30. There are two others that may ride down with Bill Cobb or we may all come together. Rob et. al...Sunday we will be at the Salty Dog for lunch...It's located on the south end of the Grand Glaze Bridge on the west side of the road...You should see a sign on 54... Hey, I just found out that Chris and the Elbow Inn are having a huge biker party Saturday night...Uh, it should be interesting, to say the least (for the uninitiated there are about 300 bras on the ceiling and each evening they announce "Show Time"  ...Osage Beach to the Elbow Inn is 50 miles...Here's directions: From 54 go east on 42 R on U R on 17 L on Business Loop 44 (Waynesville) E on I-44 R on 28 L on Z R at the sign to the Elbow Inn John and I are leaving Friday evening if all goes as planned...We are kind of winging it regarding lodging...Depends on where we end up...I'll try and get the name of this motel and post it...So, here's our plan but subject to change...Friday we ride to the Lake and get a room...Saturday meet for breakfast at 10 at Burgers Smokehouse and plan and ride...Saturday evening???...Sunday meet for lunch at the Salty Dog, ride and return home... Jeff, I just recieved email from Paul. We will be able to meet up with you two or three Saturday night when you arrive at the hotel. (somewhere around 8:30 or 9:00pm) Are there any other arrivals from KC that we should be aware of? time, etc..????? Our plans were to meet you guys grab some food. From that point everyone can decide if they want to take in some of the local nightlife. (It appears that we might have to drag Paul kicking and screaming but I think we can get him out also!) I really don't have much of a choice! With Heather along, going to Shooters or another establishment is firmly been placed on my agenda!  Other than that, I think we are all meeting up with Bob and John at the Salty Dog for Lunch Sunday and a bit of riding. I volunteer to take the tail of the pack at least til I can clear my head from the night before!  Keith | ||
