That KTM 950 SM a beast and the 450, 525, 640 LC4, speak for them selfs. Bad a-- machines. I've known Jim 'the owner' of the KTM shop since the late 80's. His shop just opened off 78 about a half a mile from the Suzuki shop. I've been by the shop, every time I leave I'm dreaming about any of the supermoto bikes. The 525 SMR is a scary ride! In a good way. Glitch, I'm glad we rode home with out the squids. On the way in to the Vortex I thought that kid with the shorts was going off the road. Kids! Especially regulars. You just have to buy something, even a soda, to get your money back. I would be happy to take yours and make one. I would need to laminate over the stock piece. I looked at making a seat pan for myself but after looking at it, it would require removing all the crap under the seat just to get it off. Too much work IMO. How was the party? We wrapped it up pretty early. I guess the last folks were given sleeping accommodations around 3:00am or so. I think I escaped anymore embarrassing photography. I took the bike but DOH! I left the freaking key in my tool box at work, so I got out the trusty tool kit and like magic reworked the ignition to get her running. I was a little nervous with her sitting in front of the hotel at Myrtle Beach but I parked with another bike so nobody fooled with it. I am riding this sunday, what happened to the formal announcment?? I have read all the stuff I missed and no one has mentioned anything. Where are we supposed to post this stuff? Who is going? We had a great time at the beach wish we could have had nicer weather at myrtle beach it rained most of the afternoon so new12r didn't get to ride much without his helmet. we did ride the strip in true squid still but going that slow wasn't that big a deal. Kure beach was nice more family oriented . I believe myrtle beach will be our new summer vacation spot New12r really liked it. Glad to be back home though can't wait to go back . blacksunshine who's all going to the Clairmont lounge , New12r an I are interested in partying with the old strippers an any of the gang . hope everyone is having a good day . talk at ya later we will post some pics tonight of the trip.
