We got a little wet today in the hills ourselves.

Thanks New12r and Kdan for heading up with me for my last run.
It may have started out wet but it was perfect by noon. Dry roads and not too hot,
until we got back down.

Man is it hot and humidity is crazy. Summer is here and its going to be super hot and the pavement is going to be sticky-icky. I'm not sure if I'm going to Stunt-Night. I'm on for thurs. at the Vortex. I don't care if we meet at the V'tex for the meeting or SMHD. New12r and myself have talked about a ride for the last sunday of this month the 26th. We will have more details at the meeting.

TODAY SUCKS SOOOOOOOO BAD. I HAD TO GO TO COURT, NO POINTS AND ONLY A 25 DOLLAR FINE. NO BIG DEAL. ON MY WAY HOME FROM COURT, MY CAR BROKE DOWN. I OPENED THE HOOD TO FIND THE BELT TENSIONER HAD COME APART. I CLOSE THE HOOD, AND THE DAMN THING CREASED AT THE MOUNTS FOR THE HOOD SHOCKS. (I GUESS IT GOT REALLY REALLY HOT.) I HAD TO GET MY FRIEND TO COME PICK ME UP. I GET HOME AND HOP ON MY BIKE.......BATTERY IS DEAD. IT WOULDNT BE SO BAD THAT I LEFT THE KEY ON AND THE BATTERY DIED, AND I NOW HAVE TO JUMP START IT, BUT MY SEAT CABLE IS BINDING, AND WITH THE SEAT COWL, IT IS A JOB IN ITS OWN JUST TO GET THE SEAT BACK ON IN THESE CONDITIONS. GOOD THING IT ISNT STORMING OUTSIDE CAUSE I WOULD PROBABLY GET STRUCK BY LIGHTNING. WHAT ELSE CAN GO WRONG????

Looks like I need to do some practice and get my shifting down as well. Rode the Biddy Buell to work today and managed to bust yet another fuel boot (3rd freaking one!) And of course, only the 4th time in 2.5 years, traffic was backed up so bad it turned a normal 25 minute commute into an hour and 15 minute, with the Biddy stalling every 5 minutes, with todays temps being in the 90s. On top of which, ESHD say they won't have it fixed until FRIDAY AFTERNOON! Kdan's theory, I'm not down shifting fast enough Come on guys, I need your help , everyone cross your fingers and make a little wish to the biker fairies that the Biddy Buell gets fixed before Thursday afternoon so Kdan doesn't have to put the B!#$h pegs back on and we have to two-up to the Tex.

WELL TODAY ALMOST GOT WORSE...I WAS ON 124 ON MY WAY HOME FROM NEW12R'S HOUSE AND I PULLED A WHEELIE. ALL OF THE SUDDEN, I SEE A ROTATING SPOTLIGHT ALL IN MY FACE. IT WAS A COP. I SET THE BIKE DOWN, SLOWED TO THE SPEED LIMIT, AND JUST KEPT RIDING. LUCKILY, HE WENT STRAIGHT. I GUESS THERE ARE SOME COOL COPS OUT THERE.
