Starts at Pine Bluff -- due west of MadTown by about 5-6 mikes(exit Rt 12 westbound on county S to intersection of S and P)

btw, the crowd starts gathering early AM, leaving the bar (SE corner of intersection) for Leland anytime from 9 to 11 -- the start is pretty empty by 11, and Leland starts emptying big time by 2

Good to hear from you again. Keep watching this thread for impromptu rides, it's still the best way to find out what's happening in the short-term. Dude, did you get a REAL telephone or email address yet? Post it or email to me, because I ride often enough and will contact you to see if you're up for a ride.

I crashed my Buell at Blackhawk last year, still rebuilding it (salvage title) to make it street legal again. Luckily, I got another ride in the garage.

I'm a definite maybe for the Crud Run. I'll have a much better idea near end of week. Sure will try to pull it off. As you know, the riding up there is well worth the trip.

Hey Anyone ever hear their hamstring pop? Sounds a lot like a carb poping and hurts a lot more. I not sure but the slimey crud and vicoden just are not going to mix see you at the meeting Thursday ride safe and have fun.

Based on the weather yesterday, I think you may have lucked out! Hope you're OK. I didn't make the Crud, I've got 2 weeks to move out of my old house and have lots to do and little time to do it.

Did anyone make it to the Crud Run? If so, how was it?

Might be the only one I make all summer.
Kandie and Bobbie are coming up to spend the weekend. Comp. Todd is going with us too.
We'll be there at 1pm.
I haven't heard back yet from other Appleton members.

Currently there are four planning to leave Thurs. morning. Three staying until Sun. the only "ride" scheduled is the initial one to the factory for the start of the events. There will be other opportunities for rides in the area once there. Lots of events "planned" see letter or buell.com.
I believe the host resort is now sold out, but please verify that.
If you need accommodations, make them soon. That part is up to you.
This is a once a year chance to take part in this event with so many riders with similar interests. Lots to do and see, the price is great considering what is included.

To all concerned about Clairemont Hotel reservations:

I just finished confirming my reservations for two nights at the homecoming host hotel Thursday at 1:45 PM. The arrangements were made through the BRAG "accomodations" selection for "National Events". I would recommend checking with them first.

Greg, Paul I can meet up with either of you on Thursday AM for the ride start. Paul where in Lockport? Greg where near Downers Grove would you intent to connect with Paul and at what time?

For the Dundee ride, where is the am kickstand up gathering point and at what time?

From what I understand we now have Sat. June 25 for the advanced riders edge class it is 95 dollars and we have room for more brag members.

Our chapter Riders' Edge Advanced Training day originally scheduled for Saturday, 16 May 2005 has been rescheduled to SATURDAY, 25 JUNE 2005 due to a screw-up with Rider's Edge.
Hopefully, this is agreeable to everyone. Please email me back if there is a problem with this new day, because there may be an option for refund.

Please forgive my very late notification. I have been tied up the last several weeks moving to a new home and not handling multi-tasking too well!.

I sent voice and email messages to everyone that I recall had signed up, and hopefully reached everyone in time.

Wassup Kurt? I just wanted to say hey back!

Sorry I missed the Crud Run ;( Hope it was fun. I had a gig on Toronto that night. I'm actually just about on my way again for two shows this weekend. I think we're stopping off in Windsor for some festivities.

Anyway, I'll keep my eye on the board for any news on rides and such.


P.S. Any of those with FI Buells, the O2 sensor is a standard GM that can be had at Auto Zone for 20 bucks. Same connector ant everything. Works great!

Bobby...want to sell that PM rear pulley? I can't remember if it was on the S3 or X1.

As for a frame...contact this guy hguthery@titanfg.com. He's built 2 choppers with Buell motors. I built my S1W from the parts of one bike.
