Well, I pulled a 13 hour work day yesterday so I could go with the Boss Man Stripe Bass fishing today on Lake Hartwell. It was perfect weather and got a little sunburned. Sure beats working!

Here is the biggest fruit of my labor. A whopping 15lbder.

B/A...The Misses has been riding her S1 on the back roads... She has went down twice, both at almost no speed... the S1 is a tad tall, but she is doing great on it!!! We found a parking lot to ride in that is kinda like a mini oval race track... She is doing great there!!! Not scapping a knee, but learning how it handles... she did ride up to the local Sonic for bike night the other nite... She did awesome on the main roads and in the parking lot!!!! She loves riding her S1...

BS- is it OK to eat fish out of Lake Hartwell now? I took some environmental engineering courses ~10 years ago and 2 of the instructors were from nearby Clemson U. They told us how Hartwell used to (hopefully) have high levels of PCB's. There used to be a capacitor plant in Easley, SC that dumped PCB's in a stream that runs into Hartwell for years. The good thing is PCB's settle to the bottom, where they are eventually covered by silt. Bacteria in the silt will eventually break them down. They said the main fish you'd have to worry about are catfish, since they're bottom feeders and would be likely to ingest a lot of the stuff.

Anyway, hopefully that is "ancient history" now, or maybe you're gonna mount that sucker instead of eating it.

We kept them. 10 in all ranging from 6lbs to 15lbs. I did clean them but I let another guy have them since it was his first time.

Whoodom....I have eaten them in the past but was unaware of the PCBs. I'm still...ur..um..gack...spit...ok....urrr....un...choke....spit...for the most part.

Cody's team won in a big way last night, brings them up to third place. Tonight is practice. Ann will handle that, so maybe I'll get some seat time of my own. Hadn't been able to ride since Sunday.
