It took several attempts to get all the way through 'cause the blade was not heavy enough. When it was severed, he called 911. When help arrived, they grabbed the leg for re-attachment and the dude freaked out screaming "if you put it back on I'll just cut it off again." His toxicology scan at the hospital came back clean. I think this was a case study in the DSM-IV. (a reference for abnormal psychology.) When you shift your weight on one foot the cam in the back of the brace that goes across the lumbar pushes the other foot out. When you shift to the other leg it does the same. Imagine a robot with stiff legs. Very bulky, combersome and non-cosmetic. In your case, with the voluntary muscle control that your have, you a leaps and bounds ahead of this device.
