So, I'm heading home from riding in the mountains today, hang a left on 60 heading towards 515 to pick up 575 to go home and what do I see? A bunch of hooligan buellers hanging out at a gas station. Seriously though, it was cool seeing a bunch of Buells up there. Sorry I was not able to stop but I was late heading back home. I hope everyone had a great ride. I know I did. |

Buell666, sorry I forgot to call. I did not even get home till almost 8:00 last night. Anyway we are meeting at 8:30-9:00 at the Quick Trip on 985 and 53.
Hulley, I saw your bike riding down Commerce in the twisties, come to find out it was not you. Your bike sounded really good in front of me, I was on a test drive and after that all I wanted to do was go ride.
Glitch, those pics you asked about last night will be under my grill on the front porch if you want to come get them before I get back.  |

MacBuell, That was us! I wish I could remember everyone's name.
Buellish, 1313, Black_Sunshine, Gig Roper, and others...
It was the first time the XBs were out numbered by Tube Framers!
Shred was with us, but split off with JonBoy earlier.
JonBoy all you need is seat time. 
It was a great day! Now I have to do all that yard work I didn't do yesterday

Jonboy , Glad you had such a good time. Lesson 101 of Mountain riding. Its always safer going into a curve to slow and make it through it, then going into fast with too much corner speed and loose it. Knowing your limits and having self control. Great riding Jonboy! See you soon. It was great to meet all the C.C.C's hope everyone had a safe trip home. Nice to see all the tubers out. That wreck Sat. afternoon was pretty bad. I was coming back from the fire station where we have the turn around for the Demos and as I came around the corner a guy named Greg riding a FZ1 hit the guard rail. He was crawling to the side of the road by the rail and the tire was still spinning. Front forks were bent so the tire was hitting the header at the four-into-one. His riding buddy Tory rides a ZX12R. I helped with what I could the E.M.T were at the wreck in under 6 minutes. WOW ! He has a broken shoulder again he broke it about 8 months ago. Also couple broke ribs and a ripped spleem and a broken ankle. Thats two wrecks I've had in front of me. The duck that went off the cliff was buy a seasoned ride. That means 10+ years of seat time with track days. Not 1 or 2 years like most of new riders that THINK the are. Good to see you mike shelley has some good pics with you and all the guys with the tubers I'll work on getting them to you. See you next weekend. |

new12r, yeah, that was my friend ashley, he can ride the crap out of a bike! on or off-road! he just bought a new YZ450F and he's picking up the new Gixxer 1000! we are going to motogp at lagunaseca in july!! We gotta go ride soon! I'm off next weekend.

Good to meet you all. I had a great time in the mountains. We hope to do it again in the future. I appreciate you guys and Buellish showing us the area.
On the way out, 1313 and I took the scenic route. We headed down to 75 Alt, and up the "good" part of 75. We whined our way north into NC, and ended up west of Asheville, caught I-40 and made the mad dash home. Great trip, T.W.O. is awesome. Hope to meet again soon.
P.S. After you left, I caught up with a group of the 500cc two-strokes and had some fun. Those guys were great too. I had fun and they seem to also. |
