Ok,
Let me ask you a question. What the heck do they do during the first services on these things. ($250.00) My service manual is on the way and I have always done my own service on my other bikes, minus severe engine work or something like that. Is this something that I can do myself and save the dough for a TFI or something? Don't get me wrong, I want to support a good dealership and all, but if all they are going to do is inspect, tighten, and change the oil.....

I think there is a list in your owners manual. Then again I could be wrong. Most people with a little mechanical ability can do quite a few thing on there own. The only thing on my first service I couldn't do myself was reset the TPS, but then again I do this sort of thing for a living. I don't have my manual with me to check it. Take a look at your owners manual... And I understand, I need to save $ whenever I can. |

The computer issues that have prevented me from getting them to you should be resolved this weekend. I had hoped it would have been resolved by now but I don't have the expertise to fix it myself and am dependent on someone who has had more pressing issues to deal with.
I will work on getting them to you before Sunday so that you can do what it is you're going to do all at once. |

I'm a new comer myself (City X). Doesn't look much like the X anymore though, other than the plastic and I'm pondering changing that too. These folks are really cool and you will learn more than you need to. Hope you got some extra cash for the mods you will be doing... haha |
