do you have any experience with Yoshimura RS3 muffler in XB12R? I would like to prepare bike for Polish Motorcycle Championship 2005 and weight of Yoshi seems to be good in loosing weight of the bike. maybe any other tips & tricks how to tune Buell to give him more power & torque?
as far as I know Dyno Jet do not have any Power Commander for XB models...

You can use the PC3 for the X1 on XB bikes.
Techlusion also has a box for the XB.
Don't know about the Yoshi pipe.

I would think that the Yosh pipe would be similar to the Jardine?

I have one of the Jardines in stock.
Badweb price is 227.66

Depends on what You´re allowed to do in the Polish Championship:
head porting
big bore
destroking and big bore
cams
.........

main problem is that we could not use motorcycle with engine bigger than 1200ccm, so I couln't use big bore kit. just thinking about Power Pack, but one of the guys from Buell in Germany told me, that factory racing module (not stock racing module yoou can find in every dealership) should be enough & it's best for race track use. it's something new for me, because I've never heard about it before. moreover, German guy told me, that I should use XB9 piston rings as the replacemet of XB 12 stock. now we will try with Yoshi exhaust, dyno test will show if it is OK for Buell... }

If You´re not allowed to use a big bore there´s still the head option. With head porting You can get 100+ hp at the wheel without even using different cams.
By the way I would prefer a big bore XB 9 engine with 1170ccm. These engines are much more suited for the race track.

Best regard from Germany

Evil,

You can bore the cases and use big pistons/cylinders for displacement of 1164 cc - that is what my racebike has. Classes have a limit of 1200 in 3 of the race clubs on the West coast. The short stroke of the XB9 gives you a quick-revving motor.

Lighten and balance the crank and go racing!
