I have them and they look great and it was a no brainer installation. I haven't tested them yet (and hope not to!) but I think someone did about a month agao...Odie

I have them on my demo. I haven't crashed, yet.
I like the looks and the level of protection they offer.
I have them in stock if you need/want some.
Badweb price is 35.96

Wycked tested them (unfortunately) a couple of weeks back. He had a lowside at about 25-30 mph and they held up well. Trust me, his frame would've be scratched and maybe even dented. Great investment for a little peace of mind.

I have mine installed like Dana's above (over carbon fiber protectors). Cheap, made well, and undoubtedly better than nothing.

They are a sophisticated part. Not just a big rubber sticker. They also keep more wind off my legs for winter riding.

I already have a set on my 12R, thanks to DaveS.

I'm looking at buying an '04 9R that is wrecked, hit in the front. It has the pucks on it and there are no problems on the side of the frame since the pucks did there job!

DaveS - do you also sale the color match paint so those of us with silver painted frames (such as the XB9SX) could paint the pucks before applying?

FP - I was right next to Wycked when he used his... Get em. Wycked's frame would have CERTAINLY been scratched at the least.

I have them as well. They do make a nice hole in the wind for you and I think they look cool on my yellow 9s.

I picked mine up at the dealer last night. Took a while to get them, backordered I believe. I ordered them right after I saw how well they worked on some guys xb12s at a battletrax. Money well spent.

I have a pair on my bike. I personally know what the "before" picture is (result of handlebar slamming into frame on a highside). No personal experience with an "after" picture since I installed the pucks.

I do know the location of the pucks is the same spot where the handlebars would hit the frame in a similar incident. They should help.
Mike.
