Dana, I think you can post the pic, I don't think what is seen is important, it was at an open track day so I wouldn't worry to much. That being said, they did ask us not to take any pictures when we were standing right next to the bike. I won't say some of things that we were told when talking with the guys there, but I will say that what was posted had a lap of warm-up 1:17 at Blackhawk Farms.  For those of you unfamiliar with the track, that is bleeping fast. | ||

Thanks UW for at least leading us out of the personal level to the corporate level of possibilities of what the missing photo is of. And with that simple statement made nobody need say any more as far as I'm concerned. My personal interest was of entertainment interest only, thought maybe he had somehow managed to get his dog on the backseat and take it for a short ride before it jumped off. Speaking of which, Dana, what do you think the possibility is of getting the Mastiff onto the seat of the XB long enough for a pic? | ||

Bummer about her not riding, but good news as well, am glad she came back into the public view though. I think someone needs to work on getting a Buell up onto the stage with her one day. (I deleted my post to avoid further confusing the confusably confused, call it a defusion deconfusion, or something like that.) | ||

OK, I'll bite. Aside from incorrect head position, ( eyes should be horizontal, head vertical) what is wrong with this photo? For correct position check out the picture on Glitch's profile,(our own streetfightin-hooligan-stud-muffin-maniac and photo-chop guru). :-) | ||

Like I said not reveiling but these photo 's are of Shawn Higbee riding the new FX for next year.The group that went to the track day couldn't get any closer shots of it.But had all commented how quiet it is compared to this years bike.Now my question is....is Shawn coming back and aboard a BUELL????Cause he was awesome to watch.So there you have it the factory is getting busy for next year.Go BUELL!!! | ||

why would the bike be not as loud. Would they just be running a baffled exhaust pipe, because they were maybe working on handling instead of motor performance? | ||

water-cooled race bike would really start the gossip mill. E Buell has been so adamant about air-cooled motors, I can't see him pulling a Kerry on Us. The kerry move is known as the "Flip Flop" | ||

The why is that the current bikes don't meet the AMA noise restrictions so work has been ongoing to change that. |
