Someone recently told me that the factory race kit on a XB9 will wind loseing top end speed and power. I figured i would ask the experts.

There is no reason, when properly installed, that a race kitted XB9 will lose top end speed. The rev limiter is the same and the bike makes more top-end power.

You lose some bottom end power, you gain top end.

With race ecm,XB12 airbox, snorkel removal,and Drummer, my XB is stronger on both ends. It's got to be more than just seat of the pants. It's just quicker.
