Keith, Would any of theses work? They are top feed instead of side feed. Here's a link that should help: http://www.tawvehicle.com/brembo_P32B_P32F_P105.ht m P32F (2 x 32mm Pistons/ 84mm mount centers) UNIVERSAL MOUNTING 20.5161.42 Gold Line, RH Fluid Feed 20.5161.51 Standard, LH Fluid Feed 20.5161.81 Standard, RH Fluid Feed |

This is very interesting. I just happen to have access to the rear brake off a 916. Wonder if it's the right one. I see a couple UK sites selling this whole kit for like $475 without shipping!! Would be nice if I could find the parts locally and use the caliper I have. |

Hey Paul, Long time, no see! I apologize for the slow response. The two Brembo calipers that I know will fit are described in the attachment. Keith |

Thanks Keith, I just bought a totaled 2007 XB12s that has 600 miles. I'm going to switch out the engine, swingarm, suspension and brakes with my 2004. I thought that would be a good time to relocate the rear caliper. I'm not going to ge to this until May so maybe you'll have the kit by then. Will the Buell's master cylinder and line work with the above calipers? As far as foot pressure goes, will it make the rear softer or harder? |

The Buell OEM master cylinder works just fine but because of the way the banjo fitting connects to the caliper, I was not able to make the OEM brake line work without putting it in an unsafe bind. The brake line is also affected which caliper you choose as they both have their fittings in different locations and orientations. How firm the pedal feels is a function of how free the system is of air. The two piston caliper does seem to have a slightly longer travel which I like because of the increased braking power. The OEM system feels a little wooden to me. Keith |

Thanks for all the answers Keith. I was hoping the OEM brake line would work on the caliper with the fitting on top. |

Well, I scored a goldline caliper and a stainless brake line that will possibly work. Should be ordering my bracket (and hopefully sliders) in just a bit. |

The bracket works perfectly Skully. My hose connected on the top right with the bleeder on the top left. Way better brake feel than the factory unit. I love the way the caliper tucks behind the swing arm. The brembo caliper came with some new ceramic carbon pads and I don't really like them, as they don't bite like the lyndalls. I cant believe that such a small and light caliper works so well. Thanks again for the bracket. |

Firebolt, I used the stock brake line, as it fit perfectly. I have the goldline brembo caliper pictured as the top unit in the pdf file above. Use the ducati banjo bolt, with the stock brake line pointing down. |

Canting the line to the left allowed it to rest protected inside the swing arm cavity and coil away from the tire as well as the rear shock.
Works great with this:

Jim That brake line looks a bit long. Is it? Or is it just the camera angle? Weren't you going to get The New Black Braided St. Stl. lines that are out? |
