I ordered them from barender (7/8" for the XB12S) Is it a simple installation? They should be arriving any day now! |

Crip...Post your evaluation of them. I like the concept and am considering adding a pair to the X1. I got a kick out of one poster reference to them being called "Helmet Tenders" in his area. Seems folks were cutting the web strap to steal your helmet. Well, after giving that some serious thought, at least you have the other end of the strap to prove you had a helmet. Whereas other locking mechanisms are easier to defeat and they get the whole enchilada ready to wear. LOL |

http://www.barender.com/ I like, except that they hold the helmets upside down, ready, waiting, and begging for bird poopie. |

"and begging for bird poopie" In some environments it becomes the neighborhood portajohn, urinal, ashtray, trash can. Check it first before you put it on your head - especially if you park your bike outside a bar or at a ralley at night. Words to the wise..... |

Can't understand the folks that bolt the frame type helmet lock down low. Saw a large dog relieving himself once into a helmet with a large crowd just standing there laughing. It was absolutely hilarious, not to mention the State has a mandatory helmet law. |

They cut down the vibration on my stupid mickey mouse mirrors immensely and they look cool. Very easy to lock your helmet on. Very satisfied with the purchase! Just put 'em on about an hour ago. Got them for both sides. Set'em up for 2 different size helmets. (You can also lock your jacket,gloves,etc... on them) |

The application guide does not list the XB. If these fit the XB, would love some feedback to that effect. Thanks |

Hi what i do is use a pad lock. you put it through the ring on the strap of your helmet and then through one of the holes in the heal guards. not brilliant but it works Lee |
