I like the headlamp and the airbox cover.
I guess you'd have to do a pretty deep squat to ride that thing though.
Seat to foot pegs, what is that? Like maybe six inches?

yeah i know. the grips look like the most un-comfortable thing i have ever seen. I know you can get that headlight on ebay. very popular if you search for "streetfighter headlight"

Did he have the template for cutting his front fender on backwards?

Again, what did that poor Buell ever do to the builder; to deserve such treatment?

Trojan,
I don't think that bike IS ridable in the current configuration.

""Trojan,

I don't either. Common with showbikes.
It would make a really cool mailbox.

Slice your boots foot pegs. That chunk of billet gas cap helps move the mass back to center. I'll high five you at HomeComing if you show up on one like it. But, don't think we won't be snickering around the camp fire that night. And, don't make the mistake of asking what I think about it. Show me the salvage title and I'll lighten up.

It is actually a stock headlight unit from a Yamaha MT03. LSL make a bracket kit to fit it to other bikes and sell the light as part of that kit, but they don't make it.

Even then, it looks like you are sitting directly on the fender which moves with the rear suspension!

Who says it has a rear suspension.
The shock has probably been replaced with a strut bar.

It would have to be for the seat to be that conformed to the bike.

At least the exhaust tip matches the "theme".

Looks to me like the seat was lowered by getting rid of the shock. I don't think there will be any problems caused with the rear fender moving.

That's not to say there aren't problems.

I love it for what it is. It shows that even a XB can be made into a hardtail with a bunch of custom fabricated cool (though functionless) parts.

Next year the builder will probably put 18" aps with a chrome springer frint end on this thing :-)

There ought to be a rule that a custom bike to be considered for an award at these shows has to be ridden around a 5 mile loop on the local city streets.

Not my cup of tea BUT I appreciate that of all the bikes out there he chose a Buell to customize.

If just one person who never heard of Buell sees that bike, learns that it's a Buell, and it raises that person's awareness, well, I think that's a good thing.

YMMV,

Not my particular thing, but I'm sure it's art in the eyes of the builder, and that's fine by me.
