no prob, I can be too cryptic.....

air-head BMW = R90s-era
&
M/C = master cylinder

uniquely, these models employ cable-operated disc brake M/Cs

might work!

ya know, running a cable from the bars and mount it on the M/C side of the brake pedal.
but i'd bet that it will have terrible feel ...

Do you want to replace normal rear braking with the thumb setup?
or
Do you want an auxiliary setup?

How much braking power are you wanting?

check out a stunt forum and see what the other guys are doing. you can prolly apply something from a jap bike.
or maybe you can apply your riding style to a jap bike that won't get a dent in the frame when you flop it over

A mechanical mountain bike disc brake might work.

Brother in buells,
Thats a good brake setup for sure, I will be running one of the Ducs rear dual piston calipers hidden with the bracket, Like American Sport Bike sells.... in place of the xb stock Caliper...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/271034348565?ssPageName=ST RK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

Was thinking IF it wd. be possible to mount something like that on the bar with brackets of course and a lever somehow to push on the piston ( as I have a couple of these units for spares....

With using this to tie it into the stock rear xb brake M/C...:

And or just gearing up a Xb Front M/C to pump the juice, cut it down flip it over etc......as in something like this..

http://www.ebay.com/itm/221121348423?ssPageName=ST RK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

I have all these used xb buell parts on hand anyways...
Got to be someway to do it, or is just another Pipe Dreammmmmmmmm

Dreams are still free as of today....

Hogs, i have also one of those duc rear calipers ,but no hidden bracket yet (was thinking to make that myself) but i have already a model made out of cardboard

that rear brake master cylinder you posted is a good option ,i have seen some pics on the web from that.

all those home made parts and stuff are so time-consuming but also half the fun

Have seen disabled riders using these on right side using a clutch master cylinder
from either a modern dirt or sport bike with remote reservoir mounted on right handlebar.
The trick is that I usually see a spacer of some sort offsetting lever below handlebar
and re-shaping lever a bit to make it function.

Will be doing this myself fairly soon. I live in fear of stop signs on uphill pavement.
Have to have right foot on pavement left won't support me, which has me on front brake.
tricky feathering clutch, easing off brake and rolling on throttle without rolling backward
or just falling over. However, haven't gotten stuck in that situation ...YET. I will one of these days. Anyway it would be
far easier to modulate and keep bike balanced with thumb brake.
