The tube frames were around for 15 years - 1987 thru 2002. I guess we better get used to the XB platform.: )

The 900 Firebolt gets one-piece throttle body from the 1200, a change that helps it meet California emissions standards without a catalyst. Towards the end of the article...

The 900 Firebolt gets one-piece throttle body from the 1200, a change that helps it meet California emissions standards without a catalyst. Buell also says that air-cooling the negine is vital in this regard Right there Darthane...in plain engrish :P

LOL...yeah, I see it. Just wasn't reading the article past the parts about the XB9SX.

I wonder if that changes any other incidental parts...are the heads still the same, or is the intake tract for those larger diameter? -=shrugs=- Commonization is the road to cheaper production.
