mine is running strong, I am just giving her a face lift. powder-coating wheels and the exhaust, polishing out the plastics. maybe paint and a chain drive if I feel frisky. | ||

The pics show Xb9 owners seem to be more crafty at making their bike their own. IMO putting on a muffler and stickers is not custom. (XB9 bikes rule) read the engine stroke, they used that as the base for the XBRR. The XBRR is the same stroke but the bore is 3 13/16. Thats why the nine is better. Plus Our INS is 1/4 the cost as Xb12 guys. which saves money for more mods. My Third XB9 buell is scattered in three places under development with a twist. Mike | ||

oh Mistresss does indeed say the Nine will break down.... of course you probably shouldnt be running it over a goat path up 4ooo feet of elevation change for a muddy, rocky, creek crossin expeditionary afternew either ! That lil adventure up Devils Gulch had me replace everything from the swing arm pivot back, yes including the swing arm. do not follow a DR400 up an 'easy' trail with a head full of ego and a full tank...   from the gas point  | ||

Xopti, so you're saying you can insure a 9 for less than $7.00 a month for full coverage +under/uninsured, medical, towing, etc... I pay less than 28 a month for insurance on my 0812R. I'm 27yrs old, and had no tickets when I started this policy, with a reputable company. | ||

I pay less than 28 a month for insurance on my 0812R. Thats because you live in Idaho, not many other people around to get into wrecks with. :P I'm 30 clean driving record and pay $90 a month in Louisiana. | ||

WOW! My 05 12R is $430 a year with a reputable company. I have no tickets in 4 years or so. No speeding tickets for 8-9 years. Insurance companies like me. Oh, I'm 35 now. Slowest speeding ticket is 18 over. I had 1 a year from ages 16 to 20.  | ||

nice payments. now post the companies so everyone can save. please A lot of it depends on state and riding duration. Florida is a higher cost state on INS. full coverage and ect. if i drop full coverage mine would drop. I pay 216. a year now on one bike. I had them quote me on a 12 it was 250.00 more avg. depending on company 15 years riding, no wrecks and no tickets...(yet) | ||

andymnelson that bike of yours/not yours is definitely in the top 5 of cleanest XB's I have seen, 984cc or 1203cc. |
