I came home a couple of days ago from a 1 week vacation and 1 week business trip. Before I left I sent my stock exhaust can to the "Lil' Drummer Boys," hoping that if planned right I would not have any bike down time. I came home to find a big box with my new drummer, a stack of junk mail higher than my bike, and my new playboy sitting on top. It was better than Christmas! After installing it today I road to the local Harley/Buell shop and demo'd a XB12S with the Harley Race kit. I liked it, but have to admit than my 9S felt strangly competive...(I do have the K&N filter, XB12 airbox cover and the drummer...still waiting on the electronic control module) I did get the free sling bag and a lot of questions from the staff. "What kind of pipe is that? Sounds better than Harley's Race kit..."Impressed and happy I thought I would come home drop a little note and say thanks. I have included a couple of pictures below. Nothing too exciting, but yes my garage is carpeted. Thanks to the Drummer boys, you are the best thing that ever happened to a Buell! And thanks to Badweb, I would have never know all this incredibly valuable info without all of you...you rock, if your ever in Phoenix drop me aline and we should meet. Trevor! | ||

Trevor, glad you feel the same way as I do when it comes to the 9 and the 12. My 9 feels like it has as much if not more power than the 12R i demo rode!!!! | ||

I am awaiting mine on pins and needles. I ordered the ecm today and have the filter on the shelf at home. c'mon drummer boys. Don't hurry. But, gett'r done! I hope to be able to post something similar soon. | ||
