This really is getting tiresome guys. Can't we all just take a step back and start over? I don't even remember anymore who said what to whom but it can't be important. BTW, who says you have to lurk and kiss ass for weeks/months before you can ask a question or contribute to a discussion? I rather liked the non-clique BadWeb when it was just a bunch of Buell enthusiats from all walks of life and loaded with information. Life is too short to be wasting it like this IMO. | ||

LOL...I haven't insulted your lack of grammar once yet. I don't recall insulting you, either (I may have, at 23 my memory's not what it used to be), though you've certainly taken your jabs at me. I said that I'd see you at Running the Ridge. You, like all people of your apparent ilk, assumed it was a threat. I've not felt the need to threaten anyone in a very long time, and I'm not going to break a streak with you. If you show up, and can ride in a responsible manner, maybe we'll ride together. If I'd based my opinion of, say, Dyna, solely on his postings on this board, I probably wouldn't like him very much. I've been fortunate enough to meet him and many others from BWB and haven't come across one that I'm not happy to be acquainted with. I do ride in the rain, though. And the snow, on occasion, and after today I can add hail to the list (WTF - it's almost MAY!). Maybe if you talked like a big boy instead of simply trying to be insulting constantly you'd figure out that this board represents a great group of people, more than willing to overlook apparent faults. You've got to show that you're willing to be something other than an insulting jerk, though. Easy, there is no 'post quota'. Unfortunately though, we seem to have undergone a rash of people who post one question and then launch into diatribes (whether provoked or not is somewhat irrelevant, remember the old adage about first impressions?). It's been so long now that I have no idea if my first post here was a question or an introduction, and it doesn't matter. What matters is that I've tried to be a part of the board, helping people out when I can in whatever way possible. I think I was indeed the first to throw a stone at 420. The problem is that I lurk on other boards on occasion and see him there being just as insulting and immature as he is here. The reason I never made a point to spar with him anywhere else was because quite frankly I couldn't give a rip about the quality of OTHER boards. This one however is in a class of it's own and I felt the need to protect that even though it's really none of my business. I assure you though, 420 seems to act the same way wherever he posts. I told him I thought he was an ass-clown once before on another board and got his standard childish/mental midget response so I just gave up and came back over here. Haven't left since. In any case - In the very first thread that was started by 420 I attempted to change his ways and was actually successful (he even told me he thought I seemed cool and seemed to calm down a little) but then the very next thread he decided to post in became another war. And the next. And the next... I tried. | ||

Darth, I didn't think there was but I've seen a few posts implying that there was some kind of seniority required before active participation. I just think everybody involved should maybe re-read some of their posts and determine if they are really the way they want to be represented on the internet. I tend to go slow when it comes to discarding people so maybe I'm the one that just hasn't caught on yet.  Anyhow, I look forward to meeting and riding with all of you in the future. | ||

I think the only time the members of this board cares how long you have been registered are when claims are being made. Every time this thing about the stack comes up someone who registered that day shows up and says oh this is great and you guys are a bunch of chumps for not buying it. We were all new to this board at one point. | ||
