Let us know how you dig it, I'm still considering an Ops pipe, but those Termignoni's are uber nice plus they're readily available here in the UK, a bit pricey but super cool mos def.

Is the Randy mentioned in Badcarma101 post an exhaust guy? What pipe are you guys talking about that sounds like a SB Chevy? Must sound pretty nice. Thanks!

@Badcarma101

You're posts are pretty funny......But, what do you have against the special ops exhaust? Seems like you just keep putting it down.

i dont bag on any in particular.just my cash is so hard to come by, my home built solution was best and flexible for my situation.
if i didnt make my own,i would have gotten a stocker for my xb9.
my muffler is a fair bit quieter than the previous jardine and i dont like loud crap for no reason.i would never do any exhaust because it sounds"cool" etc.
the HD pipes....700 for chrome plated steel tubes? absurd in every way.
for better or worse, i do my own thing my way.thats cool too : )

As always I love my special ops pipe, and I did get increased numbers, fixed my weak rpm ranges that bogged, saved weight, and my bike sounds better then my V8 mustang?

Not to mention I still have the stock jacking points.........I'd never do one of the make your own, but I also don't consider myself to have many mechanical skills.

to each his own

Badcarma101,
Odie is a stand up guy that does not come here and bad mouth anyone. You on the other hand do and have questionable motives. If the owner is as stand up as everyone else here has stated he is then he would probably tell you to pipe down so that you don't leave others with a preconceived notion of what he represents.

Word of mouth is the best advertisement that there is and it can't be bought but it can also ruin you. So go ahead and make Odie look like the bigger man even though Randy has not said a negative word in this forum.

Randy had his posting rights revoked because he didn't follow the rules, simple as that. : )

Oh, he can talk all he wants on BuellXB, not sure why he would waste his time, there is no traffic there. Last time I looked there was only about a dozen new posts over the course of a day. That Buellentinboard seems like a cool place though, but I am not a member of it. I don't know much about Buellforums, as after reading 2 threads it locks you out and forces you to register. Oh well.

Thats what I dont understand, you'd figure a site like this would allow anyone to advertise as long as its for the love of riding Buells, not making money on who can and can't advertise/talk about their products. It should be for the betterment of ALL Buell riders, not the money in the pockets who started this having to be a sponsor BS.

This site costs money to run. The sponsors pay for it to run. I return they sell there merchandise and service here. Hawk can do the same. All he has to do is pay a fee to sell here. Randy has been warned several times on Sporttwin. He continuely wanted to do the opposite of what was asked.

Look I thought all of this had been resolved. But if someone starts a thread about modified exhaust and ask peoples opinion they should be able to give said opinion on "Personal,Truthful Experience with said Modified Exhaust on your Bike". This is what you told me Froggy. People post a thread to get "Honest Opinions" regardless of Make! Is it hard to believe that somebody had a modified muffler from someone and then he ran across something he liked better, if this is not true why so many different exhaust manufactures or modifiers we all have different taste! Those of us that have Hawk Performance Mufflers have talked to Randy and know Randy is a stand up kinda of guy. You have your opinion and we have ours. The most important point is a fellow Badweber asked for peoples suggestion's and opinion's about exhaust modifications regardless of their affiliation! When I start a thread and ask for suggestions and opinions I appreciate all of the feed back that helps me make a more informed decision.

I do appreciate everybody's opinion on my question. What I don't appreciate is somebody calling me a fool for picking one exhaust over another..........that's all.
