who can make these He's curious what the demand is - also he can anodize them for color on your bike blue, red, etc. They will look similar to the stock with better grip and an extra drop of 1 inch. Any takers |

I'm interested. So are we talking a 1" drop from stock XbR pegs or 1" drop from the already 1" lower pegs? |

If it's an inch lower than the pegs on my STT and they're not terribly expensive, I'd almost certainly buy a set. |

He will drop one inch from the already lower s pegs. Should be anodized as well. He can do blue, black or red. |

I'm interested, but only if he becomes a board sponsor, or sells through a board sponsor. Otherwise, you would be violating the non sponsor advertising rule (which applies to product research just as much as it does to sales). Al at American Sportbike would probably be a great guy to work through. |

I think he may be already or I will send him there. Good manners |

I think that going an inch lower than S pegs may cause a strength issue. I would love to have something that didn't kill my knees as much but at the same time i think that the pegs would drag around just about every corner. |

Mine's an 09 ss - same suspension as the stt so I have plenty of clearance. Can't be any worse than an M2. He didn't think there was much of a strength issue. |

Thanks CBig. The topic has come up a few times, I think they would sell well. As for dragging, they would be easy to swap. So when I am in commute mode on the 9sx, I (at 6'2") would love the extra inch. When I do a track day or hit deals gap, I'd swap back to stock. And stock already has fairly insanely high levels of lean angle for a naked standard. |

With an SCG it might be a problem but with the S or Ss your still going to have way more clearance then a cruiser. Not everyone needs the clearance... I know I have never dragged on the street, and just a handful of times on the track (removed feelers, no more dragging). But then again any time I am really leaning the bike I hang off just as much as I would at the track, so I keep the bike straighter on the street. I don't get how most people drag boot/peg at a street (even a very fast) pace, but I can only conclude that they sit upright rather then using a hanging off style BP. |

Or on my SS with Uly peg mounts and Uly pegs, you got less clearance than a lowered Goldwing. |

My Scg has stock (1" drop) pegs with the feelers removed, I leaned so far I dragged the side of the belly pan before the peg touched down. I think the average person won't have any problems with 1" lower pegs. |

Ditto... With proper form, I will touch a knee before I touch a peg on a 9sx. And it's hard to imagine touching either outside of a track setting... you are REALLY turning to get that far over on a Buell. |

Now, how would this work? An adapter like the LSL(?) ones that Al sells? Or is he going to try to make pegs as well? Or is he designing it to work with stock pegs? I think most people don't like the stock material... breaks too easily. Be cool if he basically made a 2" adapter like the 1" adapter Al has, and then we could have access to all those different pegs. ~SM |

+1 to the hard to drag knee outside of the track unless your a monkey. My buddy Pat has a Ninja 250, since we started riding together he always dragged knee. We have both gotten a lot faster over this past year and I will be riding behind him and he will be easily dragging every corner he wants to, if he pleases. I can't even get close... and we both use very aggressive (hang off a good bit) body positioning for the street. Bike's just too tall. |

You have any idea on what a price might be? |

I don't know what the price point will be but he sells similar pegs for about 75 bucks with anodization. He's working on getting a sponsorship here or thru Al. |
