I was just about to order the kickstand upgrade from American Sport Bike when I noticed that it says they don't work for the Ss or Uly. Does American Sport Bike only carry one version, or is there not an upgrade available for the bigger frame...?

If there IS an upgrade specifically for these bikes, can someone throw me a part number?

The kickstands on the older XB's were prone to failures, they even had a recall on the 06 Uly for it. Your 09 is fine.

Yup. I believe they switched to the new pin + C-clip design in '07. You should have the threaded bolt like me ('06 Ss). Engine vibration causes the bolt to back out a bit, which puts stress where it shouldn't be. Bolt snaps, bike fall down go BOOM!
