? It's wind turbulence. Don't ride behind buses?

Check your tire pressure and suspension settings. If you haven't adjusted your suspension yet, set it up by the book settings.

Search for "manual TPS reset" and follow the procedure. Hopefully that'll fix the cough.

Experienced some front wobble on my Uly at high speeds. I followed the suspension setting directions in the owner's manual, and that buttoned it up nicely.

Also, I met with a guy with a lightning who was having what he described as "coughing and surging issues" when he first got the bike. He said he rerouted the breather hoses to fix his. It isn't an issue on my Uly, but you may want to research that as well as reset your TPS as suggested.

Yup, crankcase breather hose reroute helped my '06 Ss a bunch. Dunno how they're rigging them on the new models though. TPS reset first, then try breather reroute. Should be lots of info on these in the search.

The forced TPS reset is here:

IT WORKS. Did it on my '08 Uly, and it made a big difference.

Set suspension by book for your weight. Find rough road. Take tools, copy of settings and a pen/cil. Run passes, adjust settings. Enjoy yourself.

Don't understand how your profile indicates many bikes/years and you're asking about turbulence behind a bus? Never noticed that in a car?

Is there something we're missing here?

Go closer or stay further back.

How is the bike at 60 without a bus in front?

My 09 Uly was sputtering at takeoff, so I took it back to the dealer. Their advice was:

Try running the bike at ~3500rpm for 10 miles or so every now and then. Closed-loop ECM "learns" ambient engine operation in this area. Helps greatly with poor performance.

Also, I have a tendency to "blip" the throttle at take-off, but the Uly prefers a gradual increase in throttle over a quick snap.

Hope it helps...
