I wish mine would be $75.

I'm waiting for my fine to arrive.

Eleven miles into the maiden test of the Diablo Rosso tires last Friday and wham. Red Lights.

I spaced out on the fact that it was 4th of July weekend which always means huge police presence.

The sheriff was nice though.
There were three things he could have nailed me for.

This would have resulted in an astronomical fine but he only put me down for passing over a double yellow. It was an adequately long straight that used to be dotted until a couple years ago. My brain sometimes 'blocks' the yellow line changes from my body memory.

The fine will be steep, probably between $200 & $300 but considering how fast I was going (I won't say here), I got a pretty good break.

The Headless Horsemen Run in NY in a group of riders and I was the only one pulled over, clocked at 70 in a 50. The officer pulled me over cause I was the only one who's brake light was on. Cause I was trying to slow down from 90. Took it to court drop to a parking ticket 75$ no points.

Popping a wheelie, downtown Saco, ME cost me $133. Would not do that mistake again here in FL...

Yeah bolt32 the chargers are bad ass. I think most around here are the V6 though. I know one jurisdiction has one of the AWD Hemi models though, don't think I would be too tempted to run from him.

86 in a 55,

30 over in FL is misdemeanor speeding (i.e. criminal infraction and mandatory court appearance). LEO's discretion, but you can technically be arrested for it here.

Haven't been pulled over on the bike (touch wood)... a statey ran up on my ass and sat there on I-75 near Brandon once, I kept slowing down to about 60 hoping he'd go away. Someone eventually flew by us in the left lane and he took off after them.

Funny thing is, on Sunday, me and my uncle were talking about tickets, I made the remark, yeah I haven't had one in quite a few years. DOH!! Famous last words I suppose.

3 more mph and he could have nailed me for reckless, made me appear in court, double the fine on the ticket, and possibly haul me off to jail, I think its a good thing I wasn't on my bike, but then again I tend to stay more aware of my speed as they seem to love ticketing those "rice rockets" as the officer put it.

The trooper was kind of confused when I asked if he would mind if I took a pic. Told him I needed proof my first speeding ticket on a bike wasn't on mine, and just another pic for the Summer of 09.

There's a Magnum RT wagon that the locals use. It is bada$$! It's all black, dark windows, has 22" wheels...and a bumper sticker that says "This car seized in a drug bust" Gotta love that they re-purposed it as a cop car! : )

Officer in a blue 2009 mustang gt with racing stripes is the bane of my existence around here. He'll pop up anywhere in this part of the state.

They would not even pull you over in GA for that.

Only Georgia State Patrol can pull you over for under 10mph over the limit.
